Thanks for posting the info on the Majesty. I know people going in September and they will enjoy your pictures.
-
bring magnets. Walls and door are metal and magnets are easy to use.
-
just ask to use the elevator. They let handicapped people use it. Ask the crew person who is at the escalator.

We were a group of 8 adults one time. That's a little crowded, but it worked. This was several years ago, so things may have changed. Have a great time.

My rules to my grandkids included "Do not go into any cabin other than your own." And for all people - please use inside voices when on the balcony. Many people do not realize that when they play music or carry on phone conversations - many people hear it.
Happy cruising.

he underscore is only between the ship's initials and the concierge . Do not underline the entire address.

No children's menu. This restaurant is often used for b2b cruisers, Because of this you may find that a large group will not be able to get in.
-
You should get the lower price. You need to call whho ever you booked with - Royal or your travel agent.
-
I'd like to see a drawer on the night stands.

Your watch may update to local time. Be careful to know ship's time.

First sea day - About 11:15 at the Aqua Theatre. Nice drinks - Be sure to go.

Wish I was wearing that pink boa tonight on a cruise. Guess I'll just have to wear it while I watch TV. Hope you have a great New Year and that we can meet on a cruise soon.

Thanks for posting, Mario. So wonderful to hear that you reached 500 cruises. We have cruised with you several times - and always nice to say I know someone famous. Happy cruising.

Has the children's menu changed?

Captain Johnny took over the Allure on March 25. Captain Zini was still in charge until then.

We were just in Aruba last month off of the Serenade. Been there - done that and weren't even going to get off the ship. Well, to make a long story short, we got off and looked at the shops. DH found some wonderful local art ducks and it was one of his favorite purchases on the trip. You never know what you will find just around the corner in any port.

Check the RCCL website. It lists all changes due to weather.

Keggy and Tuflife42 - We are also on the August 30 sailing. We were on this ship in April - 12 and 29 sailings. It was a great ship. Captain Charles should be back in time for our cuise. We are really anxious for this cruise. Did you sign up for the Meet and Mingle? Any questions we can answer?

Always bring one to Labadee. Buy them at the end of the summer season and you can get them for practically nothing.
-
Labadee is my favorite place on a cruise ship. Be sure to go to both sides of the island - one is calm and one has many more waves.

Restaurants with extra charge - Portofino, Chops Johnny Rockets (you may have a coupon)

I remembere this ship. I don't know the year that we went, but it was a long time ago. You certainly felt the motion on this ship compared to today's ships.

What wonderful memories you bring about when you talk of the original Royal Caribbean ships. We did the SON three times one year. I agree about the captain on the Nordic Prince. Were you on oard when he sang to the passengers each morning? We were on the SOA when she had a kitchen fire in Bermuda. And the Sun Viking was by far the smallest and the best. Thanks for the memories. (Do I hear Bob Hope singing?)

We also cruised on Royal Viking and the Royal Cruise line. I miss them both. My husband and I still talk about "Julie" and the harp that was played in the upstairs lounge each day at "tea time". Sailing out of New York was wonderful.:)

Adults can order off the kids menu. I often do this.
