  1. I paid $99 for my cruise in May 2019 because I physically can’t stand up for long periods of time. Definitely worth it for me. BTW, it sold out in less than 12 hours and now isn’t even listed under excursions Miami. Obviously FTTF IS selling out even at that high a price.

  2. Hi everyone, I am booked for cabin 8430 on the Horizon. Since the Vista is laid out like the Horizon, I was wondering if anyone had stayed in this cabin on the Vista? I have some mobility challenges but it is near the elevator. I worry about elevator noise, it’s being in the back of the ship, and walking from main areas to the back where the room is located. I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks in advance.

  3. I don't know how much flights are from California to Florida but with children that age, Disney cruise would be my first choice. You can get an inside cabin with a virtual window for 4 for a little over $3,000. My next choice would be Breeze or the Vista. You all will have so much fun no matter what you choose. Enjoy!!

  4. One more thing about my experience in the WJ. I did notice that different things were served in different areas/lines. So, I did walk all the way around and look at all the selections before I decided what I wanted (we never ate dinner there). I would imagine not all the lines are open for dinner because the crowd is less (just guessing). Enjoy your cruise!

  5. We were on Adventure last April and it was great. The ship experience great, the ports great, the staff great, the service great, the passengers great and cruising out of PR great. I enjoyed the variety of food in the Windjammer. I did not personally think the taste of food in the Main dining room or WJ was anything special (meh) and they could certainly use a new pastry chef. Your parents experience was an anomaly. We were able to get in our cabins at 2 and our luggage was waiting for us.

  6. I have not been on the Fascination but I have done a Southern Caribbean on RCI Adventure of the Sea. The itinerary is so port intensive that you don't have that much time to enjoy the ship, so we didn't miss all the bells and whistles of a ship like Allure. This itinerary is amazing and I think I would choose it. We stayed a few days before the cruise at the Embassy Suites near the airport. It was around $150 a night with a complimentary breakfast and evening cocktail hour. You will probably want to fly in at lest a day early so factor hotel, food and transfers/travel in your budget (plus excursions). If you choose this option, check out trip advisor for reviews of excursions. We had some really good ones that were much cheaper than those sponsored by the ship.

  7. Thanks all...I've been following folks on the European cruise and I have the bug but I want to go on Carnival and I want to go on a new ship so I guess I will have to wait, which is fine because I need some time to save the pennies. [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

  8. I was on the Carnival website. However, when I looked today it was back. Maybe a glitch in the computer system. Sorry, I'm glad to see that it is still there. The prices have almost doubled for this cruise since I first started looking at it. I hope it goes down, if not, I may consider a 7 day on the Breeze for the same price. Happy cruising...
