Ok fellow cruisers I am getting on the breeze this Sunday and I have a big question. There seems to be some confusion do you have to purchase the $5 package to use the hub to talk to friends on the boat?

There are some good deals close to the port/ bay walk area. I got the Hilton next week for $130.00 and you will not get mugged.

The 2.0 ships have the Alchemy bar, they offer a tasting on sea days. I have done it two separate occasions and it is worth the money for taste and fun. I can't remember the exact cost though.

Omg..the towel man is so cute! I am going next month on the breeze and I hope he makes an appearance. Also, I did this itinerary last year with a different ship, it a great one.

Love the Harlem Shake video! I bet it was a good time. You should have had it go just a little longer. Funny to see that many people do the shake. Lol

Can't wait to try the new menu this summer on the Breeze. It sounds way better than the old menu which was fine but ,more excited for the new stuff.

I had the same situation for the first time last summer in Ft Lauderdale. We were able to get on early any way.

loucajen, you may want to check out the Jamaica Ports of Call forum for shore excursion discussion: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=111. :)
Thank you for the tip. The boards always are a great help. I am going to look into Liberty tours people seem to really enjoy their day in Jamaica after touring with this company. Thinking about trying The Blue Hole.
Love to cruise🚢☀️

I can't decide what to do in Jamaica. My boyfriend and I already have a snorkel booked at another port. I like to make the most of our time in port, and can't decide if we should do a good beach day or find an excursion. We have been once before to Jamaica stay close to port. Tell me what you like to do while visiting Jamaica. Please share your good ideas. 😀🚢

Sorry for not being clearer. The alchemy bar should be open around five or six till light into the night. Depending on your group size it may work. They have a back row area that may suite your group so that you can talk. This bar is great for a drink made well with a twist, I was on that boat last summer we went just about every night after dinner always great people around.

The bar opens after the ship leaves the port. Go around dinner and you should be good.

I am looking for an affordable but not nasty hotel close to the Miami terminal for the night before our cruise. Please help or tips I normally stay with family.

Breeze 6-14-15 to 6-20-15 (breeze review/information)
in Carnival Cruise Lines

Ok so.. First impression of the boat was fantastic. The Breeze is a sexy beast! I sailed with my fiancé and three friends. We got a balcony on deck six. Ports of call were Mobay, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. Our room was in the middle of the ship which is my fav. Keep in mind that balcony rooms on deck 6 overlook deck five, we had no problems. This was our fourth Carnival cruise and have previously been on two 2.0 ships.
I do believe that the breeze is the first ship that I have been on that has the muster drills inside. No more standing out on deck sweating with strangers, ugh..[emoji106]
Night one, we decided to unpack and hang out at the sail away party till dinner. Ok so here comes our first disappointment! Went to dinner late seating in the sapphire dining room. This dining room was not had nice as the blush ;I found out later. As a lot of you know the Breeze has the new style menu. The options were not bad there was something for everyone. Then we began to eat. None of us at the table really enjoyed the food, but a few of us made it work. On the plus side there was no dancing between courses on this night. Side note ( don't mean to sound like a total %*& but dinner is already long enough dancing everyday is not needed) at this point I am trying to stay optimistic about the dinning room food but we were not impressed. I have been on one other ship that add horrible food so I am not trying to hate on "American table". Sorry I can't remember what we all ordered.
