My snorkeling trip was canceled on RC Adventure of the Seas. Looking for something else to do in our 1st port on our New Year’s cruise. Any suggestions for our group of 5?

Anyone on Adventure of the Seas right now? Wondering if all the ports are open again? Looking really at St. Maarten. My snorkeling tour was canceled and I noticed many of the excursions were no longer offered, so checking to see what some did as well as if the route has changed.
TIA for your help.

I have a young adult that we would like to sign a waiver for to purchase the alcohol drink package for. I have been told two different things about this - Can someone give me some advice on this?
What I have been told:
1. I can sign the waiver
2. No one under 21 can purchase alcohol

Following - Heading that way in December

We are traveling in Dec on RC and they canceled our beginner scuba trip. They refunded our $ but didn’t say we weren’t going.

I talked to Sean via email on Friday or Thursday. He said he just got internet back. They were not hit hard, but their internet was effected. I booked with him for a private tour. I look forward to the tour and fun.

Thank you Marys350!

VineyardsGal thank you so much for the information. I am going to book this today.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a private tour company that can also transfer my family from ship to airport?

If you are cruising or staying at a hotel, I highly recommend Scenic Tours Antigua and Sean Beazer. Sean picked up us in the morning and toured the island with us for 6 hours. He will accommodate your schedule. Great SUV. Big, roomy, clean and very good A/C. He is the most knowledgeable and interesting tour guide I ever toured with. He showed us all the major sites in Antigua. We had two people on board who needed extra help and he showed them patience and respect of their needs. Besides Nelson's Dockyard, Shirley Heights, Betty's Hope, Devil's Bridge, etc. we were able to shop downtown. He even provided soft drinks, beer and delicious rum punch!
His info is:
I have been on many local tours in the Caribbean and I rate Sean #1! I would highly recommend Sean and Scenic Tours if you are staying at a hotel or coming on a cruise!

Just wondering if you booked as a customized tour or did you let them decide where to go? Did you go to the beach any?

Eshik - I am also wondering if this tour was independently booked or walk in - And about how long was the chocolate experience. What else did you do during your stay in St Kitts?
-
Did you find a good beach for this? We will be in Antigua in January.

following - we will be here in January.

I have cruised Alaska 3x. We took different excursions every time we cruised. There is so much to see and do in Alaska. Research what is offered by the cruise line to see what you are interested in and then research some companies on your own. The first time I cruised I booked everything on my own. Harv and Marv are awesome for whale watching. We booked a jeep ride through the Alaskan highways over into Canada and back (very interesting). We went on the train ride, but it was too slow of a pace for us. We booked a helicopter ride (through the ship) and hiked a glacier (most beautiful experience). A must do if you can is - while in one of the glacier areas we disembarked from cruise ship and got on a smaller boat (we were able to get really close to the glacier) and then returned to the ship. Those are just a few highlights, but there is so much more you can do.

I have found 2 tour companies that will do private tours from Livorno to Pisa/Florence. One is Rome in Limo and the other is Limo in Rome. They have such similar names that I got them confused and thought they were the same company at first. I am hoping that y'all can help me decide between the two companies. If you have any experience please let me know.

Thank you CruiserBruce. I did see this thread previously, but was wondering if anyone had recent experience. Everything I read is good stuff, so I am thinking of booking. Thanks!

We are wanting to take a private tour of Monte Carlo and of course do a little gambling at the casino. Does anyone have experience that they can share their wisdom. I have looked into 2 companies and would appreciate any info you can share.

I had someone recommend this company in Pisa/Florence. Has anyone had any experience with them. Their website and general info looks great.

Have you used Rome Cabs for independent tours and/or transfers? We are going in a 1 1/2 days early and would love to do a private tour and transfers, but want to make sure it is with a good company.

We are cruising in August 2016, but I am really researching and trying to book things early. Can someone suggest must do activities? We like to see and do everything. We are active so walking and climbing stairs are no problem. We are traveling as a party of 4 adults who love history, wine, art, and to experience the local culture. I hope this gives you enough information to help me.

It is very calm. It is a must do! Y'all will be disappointed if you don't go.

I some what agree with Donaldsc. The itinerary is so important. I sailed Alaka 2x and itinararies were different between the 2 cruise lines. That being said when I traveled on celebrity this winter the food was better than the food on RCI. The kids club was good on both, but my boys liked RCI's kids clud better. Not because of the events held but because of the amount of kids. RCI usually has a little younger crowd than celebrity and princess.

Thanks for info. I think tall are right we must have been in Tracy Arm. We don't go through Tracy Rm this time. We do go through Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier.
Scenic Tours Antigua

We had an awesome day with Raymond. It was more than $19 though. Antigua ended up being our favorite port and I would say that is because of Raymond and Scenic Tours.
