I might not have been as lucky as others, but since the going rate on hotels.com for that date is $153, I still consider it a steal! :)

Just won Crowne Plaza in San Pedro on 9/25 for $85 bid ($104 total). My bids of $65 and $75 were rejected, I assume its due to short notice (5 weeks away). So bid early!

Had to laugh when I saw this thread.

Wife & I normally steer very clear any Walmarts, but when we were in PV last year it was very convenient. We were on a catamaran returning from a snorkling excursion when a big wave hit the boat and washed one of her sandals overboard. She had to walk with one bare foot from the port across the street to Walmart for a replacement. Found a cheap $5 pair of sandals there that she still uses today! :D
