I would believe it to be an upgrade if my cruise was soon. It will not depart until 05/29/22. I think they booked that room for us at the beginning. I will keep posed as to the outcome. Thanks all. Really appreciate to hear from you.

Actually, my TA is trying to get an answer. The do not upgrade is not the problem, my TA said she checked the upgrade box. The switch is not better, is down a deck, has no sofa, my spouse needs the sofa. Thanks for your reply.

I booked a HAL cruise/tour for Alaska choosing our room and deposit given. Have recently paid balance in full.

When looking to make some advance bookings, I saw that my cabin was changed. I did not ask for this,

my TA did not either. This cabin is not the same as what was booked. Can they just change cabins w/o notification?

What can I do, if anything.

I am cruising to Alaska on 08/10/21 and it does have alcohol listed anywhere to buy. Only have drink packages.

Does Carnival have alcohol for purchase for cabin use? You could buy bottles

for use in cabin, is it still available.

MSC cruise ship Seaside sailing in the Med had 2 cruisers test positive for Covid. The 2 are not traveling together. This was reported yesterday.

Immediately after testing positive, the two passengers and their traveling parties were isolated," Rosenthal said. "Similarly, their close contacts were quickly identified and isolated." After getting off the ship, the two passengers and accompanying parties were taken home by "protected MSC Cruises transport" in coordination with local health authorities.  The got off in Siracusa, Italy. Malta their next pot would not let them dock. MSC does not require vaccinations. Will this impact US sailings?  

I cancelled my May 24th Alaska cruise and tour yesterday 3/19 and received full refund and deposit was given in FCC. Did this through my TA.

I booked airline in early February and will wait that out as flights are May 23rd and June 3rd. Airlines are dealing with more urgent matters. Everyone needs to do what is in their best interests.
