Plenty of places.   Good one is in Solarium on the Solarium Bistro patio with tables and chairs, we often go there as I don't want a lot of sun, peaceful and usually plenty of beds, loungers etc.  There are two levels, you may have to go up around the bar, but plenty of seating with or without sun...believe me there's no problem unless you have to be on the main pool deck.  That's where it can get crowded.  This pic is Allure but basically the same.  The bar is in the middle upstairs, LOTS of seating up there. We usually sit to the left under the second floor  Great video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hQLj3XZeD0

That’s where you will find me on Oasis October 24, 2024 transatlantic!🌈

Hi @Sweetsue5680! I also had gotten the internet at a great price (bundled with my drink package) and had canceled. I called RC, and they were able to reinstate my original package price. I just had the order number and total. Good luck 😊

Just got off the phone and RCCL gave me OBC of $35 for each of my weeks which is the difference to repurchase from my original purchase price of internet.  I then repurchased for each week using combination of OBC and charging the difference to my credit card.  This is in advance of the $50 OBC to be received when the Premier is officially cancelled and refunded. All is good🌈

If it's an error, then it's an error. I fell for it too, but get over it. It's not the end of the world.

Well I cancelled my internet that I had purchased at a terrific price. I expect to have it reinstated at that rate if this package is not valid.

  4. I just used Next Cruise while sailing in January. We always book well in advance and Refundable which costs more. Unfortunately booking refundable on board does not give you a lower deposit. Instead of the offered $100 On Board Credit I only received $76 for my 12 night cruise. I booked and gave them $900 since the cruise is over 9 days.  As an aside…since then I have called Royal and had price adjustments 3 times which have reduced my cruise cost over $400.  Checking rates regularly is a valuable tool!  Just want you to be aware of these policies.

  5. I absolutely recommend a visit to Alhambra. Just spectacular and you’ll be standing where Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand ruled as well as where their daughter Catherine of Aragon grew up before leaving to eventually become the first wife of England’s King Henry VIII ! The history takes my breath away. 🤗

Yes! It is the Grand at Trafalgar. Accessible shower, extra space. Small one person lift up the outside stairs, and then lifts inside.

Loving your review as I’m on the June 5th voyager from Copenhagen. What hotel will you staying in Copenhagen? I have reserved Copenhagen Marriott - thank goodness for points!

Boarding requirements from Stockholm have not been release yet. Expect test within 1 day of boarding ( that’s the Copenhagen rules)

Yes, USA still requires test before flying back. There is a testing facility at the airport $32pp.   Last Sunday SAS were not accepting the eMed proctored test results and people had to get the test redone at the airport. Not sure about other carriers.

RCCL website said the emed test is acceptable to fly home from Norway which is why I purchased it! I’m also flying SAS and am now concerned.

I can not remember hearing anything from down below. We had a full table and were able to converse across the table throughout dinner.  A large round tableI was much better than a long rectangle setup. I do remember my wine glasses were never empty, could have something to do with noise abatement.

    Sounds wonderful thanks 🍷

We were just on Navigator, same class as Voyager, and it was held on the landing between decks 4 and 5. That is also the same location we had it while on Independence.  We thought the location was OK, not all that private but not to bad. On Indy it was held around 7pm so both early and late diners could look up and  see what was happening.

Thanks so much for the info! That’s where it was done on Freedom. Serenade had a private room. I guess it’s done differently per ship. Did you have difficulty hearing the chef/sommelier with all the dining room chatter?

We returned from a land holiday to Riga the day before the invasion, if anyone has this as a replacement to SPB it is a fabulous city.

Lovely old town and an Art Nouveau district and the people are extremely friendly, I gather the cruise port is a 10 min walk to the old town.

I'm hoping to get across for another long weekend from the UK with the family over the summer.

Very pleased to have an overnight there now on our June 5th trip!

The one ten day Royal cruise ends in Copenhagen but no time there unless stay and is in Stockholm the day it leaves

easy to add in a overnight stay in either or both as the ports are quite large especially Copenhagen

We are on the June 5th 10 night round trip from Copenhagen and will be arriving several days in advance. I’d love more time in Stockholm or any of the other ports if we don’t go to St. Petersburg.
