Went to Blue Lagoon as an excursion from Nassau (was on a Carnival cruise) last summer. It was beautiful, but oddly enough the water only came up to thigh level...good for kids though...nearly impossible to drown!! :D That was the beach on the side of the dolphin encounter. Maybe the other side of the island has deeper water.

We went on the Oceanic in 1975 and 1977. Can't remember the group, but one group played "Volare" EVERY NIGHT. Now, whenever I hear that song, I think of the Oceanic.
