It's more like a very thick slice of regular French toast.  Imagine a slice of bread about as thick as 4 normal bread slices.  The center is moist, but not soggy.  

I haven't used that website, but if you're concerned why don't you just call the hotel and verify your reservation?

We're flying into FLL and spending 3 days there before our cruise out of Miami.  

I was at first planning to take an Uber from FLL to the Miami port after returning our rental car,

but it was only a few dollars more to return the car to MIA instead of FLL.  We'll still use an

Uber to the port, but it will be a lot shorter trip.

Thanks for posting a very interesting review!  We'll be sailing on Horizon in about 4 week.. 

I wonder if the menu will be the same for the 8-day Grand Turk/La Romana/Curacao/Aruba itinerary.

Lounge chairs and shade on the beach?

We are doing the same thing in November.

Flying late into FLL and cruising out of POM the next morning. We also don't need a fancy hotel, just a clean place to sleep.

It has a shuttle from the airport and good free breakfast and was fine for our needs. We will be staying there again this time, and booked Jiffy Jeff to shuttle us to POM in the morning and back to FLL after the cruise.
