Got mine 2 hours ago and still haven't arrived.

I heard from Gail abut 1:00 this morning and the winds were really bad and scary. This is a beautiful little beach with a great restaurant/bar. Very private the day we were there and NO VENDORS. Gail arranged for a taxi to meet us at the port and he returned at the time we asked to take us back the the ship.

You will LOVE IT! Just back and Gail and her staff are wonderful. Favorite day and meal of our cruise. Our prayers are with her and all tonight

The island is beautiful but we felt a bit rushed to get to all the places. The website said we would have fish cakes and a drink at one stop and did not. The power was out at the lunch location (not Glory's fault) so we went to a side of the road place. We were the only ones on the tour "Beautiful Barbados" and is was just a feeling that the driver wanted to get it over with because he would not be getting a lot of tips. We had done great tours on all the other islands with guides that were proud of their country and shared all kinds of information. This one did not, lots of silent driving. I too had read her "smart" comments and I wanted to give them a chance but for the money I would go with someone else at a better rate.

We used Glory last week and were a bit disappointed. I know I will not be using them again and really don't like that they require prepayment. If you have paid I doubt they will refund. Next year we are planning on the Hilton day pass.

He came up to us last Saturday morning in front of the Sheraton OSJ. Same story, I said his story is all over the internet. He just said "god bless you" and walked away quickly. My husband looked at me like I was crazy but I told him I had read about this on CC. He must get a lot of people to give him money or he would not be still going strong.

I called my booking agent today because there were freebies being offered and I was going to see if I could get them. Well I don't think I did because I was so surprised about the $275 price drop I forgot to ask and they don't show on my updated invoice. The $275 is way more than the extra offers so I am happy!

My husband and I each got the RCCL Visa just after booking our cruise. We both used them for everything - bills, groceries, starbucks. We now have $700 OBC for our trip. Free drink package! They will stay in the wallet until we book our next cruise. Since we bank at BOA it was easy to transfer funds weekly to cover what we had charged. Always had a zero balance by the time the billing cycle ended.

Maybe I was unclear - when should I have points applied to my booking if only using them for OBC. We leave in August, can I wait until July?

If only using points for OBC, how long before departure do we need to cash in? Trying for as much as possible to pay for the drink packages!

My NOS is 170 days out and booked them yesterday. Maybe it is by the ship.

We always cruise in August/September. Have only had bad weather one time and it happened to be Hurricane Katrina. Seas were rough for 2 days and we arrived late into our first port Cozumel, missed Calica the second day due to high seas so we went back to Cozumel. Still had a great trip.

A few posts back the amount for tipping was asked. How much is a fair tip? Don't want to seem CHEAP.

We have been to Cozumel several times and love Mr. Sanchos and Paradise Beach. This time we are thinking of visiting the "other side". I have looked at Shore Excursioneer and Tours Plaza. Any thoughts on these options or maybe another tour I have not seen? Thanks
