Came off the Escape two weeks ago. We had three cabins: 8750, 8754 and 8758. I occupied 8758 and only heard some thumping one time during the cruise late at night - It was when the Brat Pack show was going on. Ended around 11-11:30 a.m. The rest of our party never heard anything in their respective cabins. I was so worried because I read the comments from the reviewer regarding the shuffleboard noise and never heard anything.

We were very happy with the cabins that NCL assigned us since this was a last-minute Sailaway rate. Decided to withdraw our upgrade bids after receiving the assignment.

We loved the location and its proximity to Food Republic, the District brewhouse and waterfront. We plan to book these same cabins again.

So on the deck plan, you can walk from your deck 8 cabin down a hall to Food Republic and Brew House?

We are in cabin 8738, do you think that is far enough forward to not hear the theatre practice? We are night owls so I don’t think there will be a problem.

Secret balconies? We are booked in 8738 Escape 1/2019 long time to wait, what's special about this balcony? I watched the YouTube it looks like Breakaway?

We are getting the Cheers package, to try different drinks we normally wouldn't buy. My DH and I want to try a $50 drink....lol I have no idea what could cost that much, but it includes specialty coffee so I'm there, we had a large bill on our first cruise, I'll never repeat that bill again, we were with a group and bought for the group also. I'm going to keep track also and see if it measures up.

I haven't seen it available for months for our sailing😪

I go on all hours and it's always Sold Out of our August 6, 2016 cruise....

I booked a couple of weeks ago for our 12/23 cruise, no problems, I read somewhere it fills up on NCL, whatever you decide, Enjoy!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info, thats a shame. I used to get 2 pots of coffee via room service everyday. I refused to pay $8 just for coffee, its the principle. A coffee maker would have made up for it. Oh well, Thanks again.

I read somewhere coffee among other things is free on the Gem from room service
