My cruise leaves at 4 and paperwork says embarkation is from 1-3. But I see lots of posts about people embarking at 11 am. What's the rule here?

I have priority boarding if that makes a difference.

It's funny how different everyone is when it come to temps. I'm definitely a very warm person.

To me (and perhaps to others) complaining about losing money gambling is a bit like blaming Carnival because you threw your money overboard and it was gone.

The other things do sound like annoyances but I hope you won't let them ruin your trip. The temp in your room is too high in my opinion but I'm glad you got a fan.

I do NOT understand how people don't know this!! Have they never seen an elevator? Does being on vacation make people forget the most basic civility?

It's not just etiquette it also makes much more logistical sense.

I hear you, but honestly the internet tracks what you view and sends it to companies anyway. There isn't much privacy for anyone on the internet.

You could try going to your Roll Call thread and see if anyone is interested in sharing the excursion with you.

My husband and I will be on our first cruise this year (for our 25th anniversary). We're sailing Aug. 29 2015 on Carnival Splendor.
