  1. Hello everyone,

I'm curious what everyone's experience has been with the Resort of a Day pass at Hilton Rose Hall. Pros? Cons? I've read some mixed reviews so just curious if anyone has current experience with it. After the recent announcements about traveling to Jamaica, just trying to determine what the best option is for my family. Thank you!

  2. Hi everyone!

We will be going to Atlantis waterpark on our cruise in February. I've googled this and I can't find a straight answer so I thought I'd ask here. I see that they offer free life jackets are Atlantis, but does anyone know if we can bring our own? My kids like the "puddle jumpers" so I was planning on bringing those. Thanks!

  3. Hello everyone!

My family and I will be stopping in Nassau on our cruise in February and my husband and I want to take our kids to Atlantis. The excursion through RCCL is extremely expensive so I found a pass through Resort for a Day. Does anyone have any experience with this one specifically? We've used Resort for a Day on other cruises, but I was hoping someone had done the Atlantis Aquaventure with Resort for a Day and let me know your experience. Thanks much!

  4. Red Frog Pub doesn't offer any freebies (drink or food). The food on their menu is more of a snack/appetizer variety - coconut shrimp, wings, etc. I think it all has a Carribean flair. This wouldn't be a venue to get a full sized meal. The menu items are reasonably priced in the $3-6 range (if my memory serves). I got the Coconut Shrimp a couple times and it was a yummy little snack!

Well that's odd! I wonder why it says included on the website then. Now I'm curious what is "included".

  5. We are cruising on the Vista in January and I've read many reviews about the wifi not being very good. I just want to be able to keep in touch with my family at home.

If you purchased a package, what was your experience with the wifi? I was thinking of just doing the value package but wasn't sure if anyone had better luck with the more expensive ones.

    Thanks!

  6. Hello -

After looking through the excursion information for our cruise, we aren't crazy about any of the options. I know we could book with another company but I have a few questions...

Are there any nice beaches within walking/taxi ride distance from the cruise port?

Is it safe to do this and not do something through a guide?

    Thanks!

  7. The future cruise desks are being (or have been) phased out. Now, you will get a past guest early saver offer that gives you $50 OBC for your next cruise if it is booked on board or within 2 weeks of sailing. This is an early saver offer and subject to those rules/regulations/restrictions.

Oh, I see. Great, thank you for the information! Not as glamorous as I was hoping for! :D

  8. We are cruising on the Vista in January and we talking about booking another cruise while we were on-board. We've been on Carnival a few times and I vaguely remember them advertising cruises for a sale price or offering something.

Does anyone have any information on if you get a better deal if you book while on your current cruise? Do you get OBC? Free upgrades?

    Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

  9. Awesome review! I really enjoyed it. For some reason, the pictures didn't show up for me, but I enjoyed reading about your experience. We are cruising January 2018 and we can't wait.

You mentioned towards the beginning of your review that you wanted to change a different booking and waited to change that and received $200 OBC for doing so. My husband and I have talked about booking another cruise while on our current cruise and were wondering what the benefits would be for doing so - do you have anymore details about that? Is the $200 OBC the only perk?

    Thanks again!! :)

  10. Hello everyone,

Just looking for information, opinions and experiences with using www.shoreexcursioneer.com.

Would you recommend it over the excursions the cruise lines offer?

    How was your experience?

Was it easy to find the shuttles or excursion location?

We normally book directly through the cruise line, but I heard about this website and they offer some of the same excursions for a better price. I know that cheaper isn't also better so that is why I wanted to check.

    Any information is extremely appreciated!

    Thanks!

  11. Hello,

Just wondering if anyone just got back from a cruise that went to or stopped in the Bahamas? If so, how was the weather? It seems to be chilly and rainy from the weather reports I've been looking at.

If it was cloudy in the morning, did it clear up throughout the day?

We are visiting in the beginning of March.

    Thanks! :)

  12. We are going on a cruise in March and will be stopping at Grand Bahama Island and I'm unsure on what to do. What are the best excursions? Or what can we do on our own? We really like the idea of relaxing on the beach for the day and spending some time in the water. I've looked through the excursions that we can pick from and some have great reviews but also some bad ones. I know it's all how your make it, but we want to make sure we don't waste money if we could be doing something on our own.

    Thanks in advance!
