Does he have a website? How to contact him?

I have never been to this port.  What are some must do/see for first time visitor?  Does anyone have any recommendations for non ship vendors or tours (assuming we will be able to do that)?

I have never cruised out of New York before so this is very new to me.

Flying to LaGuardia day before cruise that departs from Manhattan pier/

I would like a hotel that has a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and the next day the hotel has shuttle to the pier.

I would also like to be centrally located in Manhattan.

I did this excursion through Carnival and had an unpleasant experience. When we arrived at the boat dock to get on the boat to go out to the ruins, I purposely bypassed the shopping and getting something to drink to be the first one on the boat so I could get a good seat to be able to see as I am short. The last people to get on were a couple and one sat next to me and the other across the aisle. The tour guide, Elvis, decided the couple should sit together and moved me from a seat where I could see the scenery to a place where the only thing I saw was the front wall of the boat, the sky and the back side of boat driver. The tour guide told me to sit on seat cushions which didn't change the view for me, just more of the same. Finally the couple said I should be back where I was originally sitting so I could see. The tour guide did move me back, but after that he harassed me as to "don't you trust me" ,"I never have had anyone not trust me" etc. The ruins were awesome, but the experience of the boat ride really soured me on this tour. Why would you move someone who worked hard to get on the boat by not doing fun stuff at the boat dock to be first to get a good seat and then after he moved me to an undesirable location where I saw nothing on the boat trip then harass me over the situation because I didn't 'like' the tour guide enough? For this reason I will never do this excursion again through the ship for fear I will get this same tour guide. I will stick with Shore excursion group to go to the ruins.

Has anyone done an excursion through Cozumel Tours by Johann & Sandra? I will be in Cozumel in December on Carnival and had booked an excursion to Mayan Coba ruins and Carnival just canceled the excursion. I have been to Tulum and Chichen Itza before and was looking for other Mayan Ruins. I plan on San Gervasio in January. Open to any other suggestions for excursions.

We are a group of four women of a certain maturity. In Curacao we are going on the Irie bus tour. I've read some very good reviews on the company and tour so feel comfortable going on an independent excursion. We still haven't decided on Aruba, Grand Turk will be a beach day at the port and walk down to jacks shack to check out the famous dogs. Not sure what to do DR but have read many reviews that there isn't much in the port. This is one port where I would spend the extra money on a ship excursion rather than going independent.

60+ solo female cruiser and I did the Irie bus tour in February and it was awesome. Grand Turk hung out at beach and walked to Jacks Shack to see the dog.
