In August, on the Sky. It wasn’t on the menu but I asked, and they gave it to me. We are going on the Epic in February, and hope I can do the same.

Loved Cagney’s! Gotta ask for the 32 ounce tomahawk, it’s not on the menu!

Easiest way is to let Norwegian handle it. I was worried, but in the end, once we checked in at the port, the NCL agent had our visas ready to go.

We always tip an extra buck or two. One night at the bliss lounge, there was a line 20 people deep. My wife got up to the front, gave the bartender a 5, and said please remember me. She did not have to wait in line for the rest of the night!

OK so there's lots of talk about this new upgrade bid system that went fleet wide recently.. so Im wondering
- what offer everyone received
-what cabin do you have now?
-did you bid ?
- if you don't mind telling what did you bid
- was it accepted
-how long did it take to get accepted?

Here is what they sent me. The etc. part is a bit vague. It says no casino and can't use it for service charges. I will probably just give them a call

NCL gave us some OBV to use due to an issue on a previous cruise. Can we use this for specialty dining and shore excursion? I know that we can't use it in the casino or for gratuities. Thanks!

Very disappointed that my August 21 cruise has been changed from the Bahamas to Cuba. I already booked our flights. They offered to change us to another cruise, however, with my flights, this is not an option.

We were on the Dawn in August 2016. Our kids (18, 17 and two 16), my in lawns, my mom, and my sister all joined. This ship has something for everyone. The wife and I enjoyed specialty dining for a few nights which was extraordinary. Activities included scavenger hunts, deal or no deal, bingo, dancing, and a lot more. We are not big into the shows in the theatre, however the other entertainment was great. You chose a great ship!

Hello,
Can we purchase the ultimate dining package on the Sky for a 4 day sailing? Also, is there an adult only area?
Thanks in advance!

Bar service wasn't too bad. The first day, on the pool deck, was crazy. Some slow service in the casino. But everything else was good.

The beds were very comfortable and our cabin steward was great! We did use the iconcierge app. It seemed to work fine as long as the app was open on your phone. I tended to miss texts if it wasn't open. It was worth the 9.95.

We did go to some shows. There was an American Idol type of show, a magician, Elements and Band on the Run. If you like Broadway, I'm sure you will appreciate all the shows. There was a 7 and 9 for almost all of them. The bathrooms were all functional from what I could tell. The pool was up and running a couple of hours after we left Bermuda. I would highly recommend this cruise, especially if you are within driving distance to Boston.

The pool is small, but we were always able to find a lounge chair. Other than the pool area, I did not find the cruise over crowded.

Just an update as we just returned from vacation. Every evening you will be able to pick your gluten free meals at the dining rooms for the following day. This worked out well for my daughter.

We just finished our cruise from Boston to Bermuda, and overall I give it a 4 out of 5. Our group ranged from 15 to 73 years, and everyone had a fantastic time. The food was top notch, especially at Cagney's and Le Bistro. The main dining rooms had something for everyone. For a quick bite, O'Sheehans was perfect (the buffalo wings were top notch!). We did not particularly care for Los Lobos, as we found the food bland. The service was great, especially if you tip a dollar or two here and there. In Bermuda we went to Horseshoe Bay, which by far was a highlight of our trip. We also did a jet ski excursion, which was a blast! Save your 5 dollars and don't go to the snorkel park at the dockyard. It was rocky, and the beach was crowded. We had an Oceanview stateroom was was more than adequate for two adults. Our kids were a bit tight in their Oceanview (4 people), but you are only there to sleep. There was an incident at the pool which close the pool the entire time we were in Bermuda. I will spare the disgusting details as to why it was closed, but that's the reason I only gave this 4 stars. This was not NCLs fault, but it did put a damper on the trip, as we enjoy swimming after dinner/before bed. I really think they worked out all the bugs post dry dock. If you have any questions please feel free to ask!

Hi Iachelli. My daughter is GF and we are sailing on the Dawn today. I will be sure to report on the menus/foods upon my return.
-
We are sailing tomorrow and my daughter is gluten free. I called NCL and they said it will be on her reservation in all the dining rooms. I will let you know about the food when we return.
-
Hello nancydow. Would you happen to have any details on the entertainment? Thank you.

If you were to do one, I highly recommend Cagneys. One of the best ribeye steaks I ever had! Get a side of the truffle fries, and a shrimp cocktail to start. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

I had called about Los Lobos, and it is included in the SDP. We are doing Los Lobos, Cagneys, and Le Bistro. Love Cagneys!
