On my first carnival cruise I wasn’t aware how people treated it like check in our Southwest and logging in exactly when they could, so I checked in a few days before and got the 1-1:30 slot. From the time we were dropped off at the port until the time we were on the ship was like 20 minutes, plus our room was ready when we boarded

that worked out so well I chose the same time slot this past summer, we were on the ship in 10 minutes!

I’ll let everyone fight over those early slots. To me nothing begs the 1-1:30 slot

Finally I'm all caught up! I'm glad you guys finally made it onto land, I've been sea sick sailing the Alaskan Strait and it is absolutely horrific. I missed lobster night and cried lol

Peter Pan line is ridiculous. But it's nostalgic and I Need to ride it every time. A couple of friends of mine were just there and I told them they NEEDED to ride it, they were not happy they waited 90 minutes for a 30 second ride lol

Idk what I'm more jealous of, your travels, or your travel purchases! Louis in Paris, Tory in Orlando, I'm drooling just thinking about it! We have similar tastes I can tell.

I always eat at Pecos Bill. Been to Disney too many times to count and I don't feel "at home" until I've eaten there.

Yea, I would say that train station in Barcelona trumps LaSalle Street station [emoji23]

How did you find the people in France to be? A friend of mine was there this summer and said the locals can be quite rude to tourists

Love your promenade deck pictures. Whenever I think of cruising (which lets be honest, is quite often) the promenade deck is the first thing that pops into my mind. We always take pictures before dinner out there

Ok that's the smoothest, quickest embarkation I've ever heard of, I guess that kinda helps make up for the plane delay debacle

I love the vision class ships, I have been on Rhapsody and Enchantment (post stretch) I love how connected you feel to the ocean, I like the charm of the older ships, and feeling like I am actually on a cruise ship instead of a mega mall. Although I do love the bigger ships too

The sun set pictures are amazing, would make a nice background for a computer

In a way, La Boqueria kind of reminds me of Pike Place Market in Seattle, which I know you are visiting soon! All out food pictures are making my mouth water
