Got a similar question. Husband medically evacuated off the ship last week, three days before we would have completed the 11 day voyage.  That trip was our 15th cruise and coincidently would have been our 150th day.  Will they bump us to Elite now because we paid for the cruise or would we have had to complete the cruise?

My husband was the one that got medically evacuated off Thursday from the Crown. Ambulance to hospital was fine but once we got to Victoria Hospital, it was a crowed mess.   Horrendous experience after that and felt like we were abandoned in Victoria. Princess no help and I had to arrange hotel and the airfare home.  I'll probably start a new topic with details, and request help from my dear CC friends.  

We will be sailing Alaska next week.   Anybody heard why ship diverted?

Princess has a self use laundry room on each floor. Only costs a couple of bucks. Way nice to wash cloths through out cruise. And pack clean clothes for home.

We are booked on a cruise in 5 weeks, out of the country. We just found out that hubby's oxygen is way low at night. Doctor ordered an oxygen concentrater for use at night.  Suggestions please, how do others deal with that necessity? Plane travel, hotel stays, cabin on cruise etc.

What about if someone (non passenger) drops you off?  Is it easy for them and easy to get to terminal for mobility challenged passenger? Can the driver drop off luggage for passengers?  Can Uber go right to drop off area?

Thanks for the reply.  Considering one of these cabins on the Sapphire next year for 32 day cruise.  But yikes, 22 sea days.  Would want to enjoy the balcony and not worry about them being locked.  

Did the balconies have furniture?

We did H & M several years ago and loved it. We are booking them again for our upcoming Alaska cruise this May.

We did that last Tuesday,  Got the same reply that they submitted to Princess.  Now 4 days later and still not posted to Personalizer. Now what?

We are also doing this itinerary April 2025.  We have an ocean view cabin booked, but wondering about ocean view cabins that are at the very front of deck 9 and 10.  It’s my understanding that they are actually balcony cabins but the balcony doors are locked on sea days. Have you come across anyone in those cabins that could tell you if the steward actually locked those doors?  Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking to book the same type cabin on Sapphire.  C100-105 or B100-105.  Do they in fact lock the balcony doors on sea days?  Doing a 32 day South Pacific/Hawaii with 23 sea days.  It would be a bummer if we could not use the balcony on those days. 

Enjoyed your posts.  We are sailing on Sapphire next year. We are booked in a partially obstructed view on deck 8.  I’m seeing different diagrams of bed placement. Some pictures show the bed under the window (I really don’t want to climb up onto the bed )tand some show the window at the side of the bed.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated. 

Oh my!   We saw “On The Bayou” many many years ago.  It was our all time favorite.  

We cruised the Mediterranean last year and used Italy Tours EU.  They have several options in several ports and were very accommodating.  We would definitely use them again.
