Sexy, love it, wear it!

I saw an elderly, overweight old man in a mesh t shirt and shorts. I'm really glad it wasn't over dinner. Keep dress codes. It's fun and a chance to "escape" from everyday life. 40s

Don't count on any decent TV . The same sitcoms play over and over and get boring very quickly. We take a laptop and DVDs and really enjoy catching up on TV we never have time to watch. We took Fargo , Sherlock and Vikngs last cruise. We didn't watch all of them, but it was nice on the nights we didn't feel like staying out late.

Who is going to know it is a renewal? Get the dress you want and pretend it is your first!

Some formal nights outfits I've worn are above. Take things that don't require ironing!

I'd take some white and also black Capri pants, lots of different tops, sparkly sandals, ballet flats, lots of mix and match items, a maxi dress, accessorise with costume jewellery. You will need shorts and t shirts, a sarong for the pool and beach......I'd also take an empty bag to fill up with clothes from the fab destinations you are going to!

There is nothing sexier than a man in a tux! My hubby and I rarely get the opportunity to get "glammed" up....who does? We go all out on formal nights, every single one. I sparkle from top to tail and when we are back in our ordinary lives, we think back to those nights and never have regrets. I wish everyone made as much effort.

For goodness sake all you tight wads whining about $35 dollar meals. You are on a holiday, enjoy it. On a 14 night cruise we ate at the restaurants 8 times. Loved it. Enjoyed the change of scenery. Food great. It's nice to get dressed up and have an intimate dinner, rather than with the hoards of people at the Windjammer. Spend your money, you can't take it with you.
