We are flying into Laguardia on 10-1. We arrive at 1:00 pm. We just want to see the Park. I understand it is beautiful. I am open to suggestions.

What's your hotel budget? Two people? Is there a special reason you want to stay near Central Park?

 

You need to book a car service like Dial7 or Carmellimo to go to Cape Liberty. Do not take a NYC cab.

Thanks for your quick reply. We need a room for just my husband and I and it looks like a room will run $200+. We want to see Central Park and the 911 Memorial so we just assumed that would be a good area to stay. We are quite clueless about NYC so we will welcome all suggestions.

Call these folks for a quote. They are a no frills operation that takes reservations 4-6 weeks out. No web site. I booked a group of 7 a few years ago and other posters on this forum have used them since.

Hi, we are sailing on the X Summit Oct 2 out of Cape Liberty. We want to stay near Central Park in NYC the night before but don't have a clue where to stay or what transportation we should use to get to the port. Can you give us some ideas?
