    In the old days we would fly the same day without a second thought. But now, it is not worth the stress and worry. Add a few bucks to the budget and enjoy an extra day in San Juan.

    We are booked in 9292, does anyone have any feedback on this cabin. It is midship just off the bump aft, starboard.

    My DH has back pain from disease so vibrations are out of the question. Please post any update to this condition. Thanks.

    Bill, I understand this might be personal, so please don't answer if it's none of my business, but I'm curious about what changed so that you don't have to use CPAP anymore? I might be looking at it myself.

     

     

    When I had my last two sleep studies it was determined a mouthpiece was just as effective as the cpap machine. There have been many advances in the area of sleep apnea since I was diagnosed 18 years ago. Thank goodness more people are being diagnosed and receiving the treatment they need.

    Two people in our party use a cpap machine. I know we can bring the cpap machine on board, no biggie.

     

     

     

    What I need to know is if they have DISTILLED water on the ship to buy OR can you bring an unopened jug of distilled water? Can't be bottled water because of recurrent sinus infections.

     

     

     

    Do you need to bring your prescription or note from the doctor concerning it?

    RCCL will provide you with distilled water FREE. Contact specialneeds_rccl.com give them your reservation number, ship, cabin number and sail date. I know you probably only need the reservation number but I like to be careful. You will receive a conformation of your email, then a reply from Special Needs Department. It is one of the departments that is very responsive, IMHO.

     

    The distilled water will be in your cabin upon embarkation. I have done it many times for a variety of reasons and no questions asked.

    I went to several stores where you can purchase Alex and Ani including their new flagship store in town. The good part is you can get several bracelets no longer available in the US. I also got the St. Martian and St. Thomas bracelets at each port.

    Thank you for reminding me to check rates at The Radisson. We booked a year in advance as well and had the same rate as you. Just checked online and the price had dropped. Re-booked to a bigger and better room for a much lower price! Thanks for the reminder and the great review!

     

     

    I just checked also, they lowered my price $40 and booked the shuttle time. Thanks for the heads up!

    I believe they do. Depending on when you cruise is, don't count on the ability to stream movies over the internet, as I do not think FOS has been fitted with Voom Internet capabilities yet. You would have to have your movies downloaded on to your device prior to arriving on the ship. They other obstacles may be that the remote control may not allow you to change tv inputs? Samsung's peel app is the best IR remote control app that I have found to circumvent hotels and cruise ships from limiting tv usage.

     

     

    Thanks for the reply. I was planning on downloading the movies and TV series. Are the TV's Samsung or is this remote app Universal? I was not able to find it on Apple's app store. Sorry, just found it on the iPhone only section.

    Movies not sure about but the internet is really fast you may have some buffer issues we were able to watch our own movies using the dish app ( we have dish pretty much everyone has an app) and I could watch shows on the tv using the ipad to hdmi adapter I have as well as my andriod phone to HDMI adapter.

     

     

     

    Don't think you will get any special discount on the cost for internet as they do the internet by the day.

     

     

    Do all the Royal ships have the capability of hooking up a HDMI cable? We will be on Freedom next month and I would love to show movies from my iPad to the TV.
