  1. Ship activities.

First, a few words about the dry dock.

When we sailed the Freedom she had just received the “2.0” upgrades. So when I saw the Sensation would be going through dry doc right before we sailed, I thought, “those drunk college students are really going to make for an entertaining Dr. Seuss parade.” But instead of Seuss at Sea, breakfast burritos, and the Guy’s toppings bar, we got new carpet (mainly in the stateroom hallways), upholstery, gym equipment, and Playlist Productions. Mom was so disappointed she only spent 30 minutes total in the gym out of protest (right…more about the gym in a second). If you’ve been on the Sensation recently and noticed anything else new, chime in, but that’s all our post dry dock scavenger hunt revealed.

    The gym.

FYI. Seuss at Sea is "coming soon" to Sensation according to the Carnival site. Heard somewhere that it'll be in the Spring. So that's hopeful. No Guy's Burgers though. BOO~

  2. I'm new to this, but this ES thing (checking everyday) is a bit of a stress. We booked a cruise with a suite for our family of four in June, and honestly are paying a pretty high amount compared to most Carnival cruisers it seems. At first I was perfectly happy with the price (compared to the Disney cruise we almost booked), but after learning about ES have been eager for a price drop ever since, which may or may not ever come. An OBC would be awesome, but part of me almost wishes ES didn't exist and Carnival would just credit you automatically in good faith if it drops prices. Oh well...guess I'll keep checking. LOL #feelingkindagreedy #firstworldproblems ;) :D

Click on the ship icon that says "which ships is this on" and it gives a list of 9 current ships with no "coming soon" ships being listed.

**UPDATE** Carnival's been busy!! There are now 14 ships listed with Seuss at Sea available, plus 4 listed as "Coming Soon" which are Conquest, Fascination, Paradise and Sensation. :) We are pretty excited this will be available on Sensation when we sail in June! :D

  4. you're right on all but the steakhouse. the food part here:

has the steakhouse selections as 'new'. you can order the steakhouse entree in the dining room. but no fantasy class ships have added a steakhouse to date and i doubt they'd add that.

the activities part is listed here and has everything you said:

Thanks for the links! Yeah, I guess I didn't specify on the steakhouse option...I did assume it was just that you could order from the dining room. Still good to me though, because a week ago when we booked, the "steakhouse-new" tab didn't exist for the Sensation. The hubby is a steak guy, so it's something. I do wish they'd add Guy's burgers too, but we can't have everything I guess! :)

  5. Noticed on Carnival's site that this week they've added Seuss at Sea, the Hasbro Game, Carnival Live, and the Steakhouse option as "Coming Soon" on Sensations list of onboard activities, etc. So I suppose these are being added in dry dock. Not sure what else, but we sail in June, so we're excited!
