The size of the wine tour group depends on how many people book for the day you choose to go. The pick-up point is Plaza Cataluña.

Palamos is a friendly port town on the Costa Brava. You could walk along the seaside promenade, visit the fish market and fish museum and enjoy delicious seafood. It is a very relaxing and easily walkable town with a quaint historical center.

Tarragona is definitely worth visting, you could walk the city on your own, visiting the colleseum, the circo, the arqueological museums and the other roman ruins, of which there are lots for such a small city.
On the other hand, Barcelona is about an hour and a half on train or longer, so whether you visit Barcelona or not I think would depend how much time you have.

Definitely worth it! The building is beautiful inside and out. I would recommend center, ground floor or first floor. The gran gala flamenco and the opera and flamenco show might be interesting to check out.

If you like food and wine you my try this tour: http://www.foodwinetours.com/tienda_producto/1391/barcelona_wine_tour_montserrat_tapas_and_wine
Personally I think it might be a bit much to do Gaudi´s buildings and Montserrat all in one day.

I personally think going on a full-day trip upon arrival to Barcelona may be helpful to jumpstart you into the timezone. Montserrat is lovely and is mostly outside, breathing in fresh mountain air you sure to stay awake.

I particularly like Hotel Praktik Bakery for the concept of fusioning hotel with a bakery. If you looking for day tours or cultural tours during your stay, you might check out : http://www.foodwinetours.com/
