  1. My mother and I are coming In the day before the RCCL New England/Canada Cruise, it sails at 4 pm. How early in the day are you allowed to drop off you luggage. Check out at the hotel is 11 a.m, which means we will have our luggage to carry around with us until near sale time, which would limit us from say visiting a museum or shopping.

    Thanks

:) Kathy --Arkansas to Baltimore to Canada in 4 days!

  2. I am anxious about my first cruise anyway, when I read the travel document about noculation certificates I thought  now what do I do. For us old people (I speak for me and my mother) we can't remember the last time we had a vaccination, except for a flu shot.

  3. I booked a RC Sept 3rd New England cruise through Travelocity. Now every week I am getting deal alerts showing how I could have gotten more bang for my buck. Has anyone every made changes with Travelocity after they just paid their deposit, to get the extra perks, and is it worth the time and effort? I mean if all I am going to get is a buy one get one half drink drink package I won't worry about it, but if overall prices decreased enough I might. Makes me think I should have waited to book but there are so many people that book a year out, I thought there had to be a good reason to do so.

    Thanks, Kathy

  4. Hi Robin, I feel your pain. I booked my cruise 6 months out, I figured if I did it too far out I would loose interest in my weight loss and start gaining it all back! As soon as I can buy a summer outfit I am going to buy one 2 sizes smaller than I am now and try it on every day, too keep from making bad choices. :)

  5. You have a nice budget for your cruise, we also did a GS on last RCCL cruise which was great. The GS or above gives you many perks which will make the cruise more enjoyable such as a concierge , free drinks, priority seating for shows and a great cabin. As for age, you will find all ages on most ships. We avoid the summer since some of these ships may have a lot of children running around.

Speaking of children, I booked the week of Sept 3rd, RCCL GS kids are in school by this time right? Taking my mother on a cruise, first time for both of us.

  6. Questions for all of you that are deciding to jump into WW. How long is the longest you were on program at one timel. If you make it all the way to cruise time, do you think you will see all the cruise food in point value?

I stayed on program for 9 months once, lost 55 lbs, this is slightly less time than what I have to my cruise. If I make it that far, I will definitely be hoping they have a good selection of fruit! By then everything in my head will be a point value.

  7. Diane you are my WW twin! I became a lifetime member in 1995. Lost it again in 2006,now it is super hard. I love the tracking and making good choices. I wish that I didn't fall off the wagon because I get so lazy, first it is one missed tracking day, then two......

Cruising in September should be enough time for me to drop, enough weight to at least wear a suit!

Good luck to all the WW jumpers! We can do it! I found an awesome site for those of you that like to cook healthy, made the Balsamic pork roast (5 pts) last night, yum. Skinny taste.com

  8. Hi everyone, I (50's) am taking my mom (in her 70's) on our first time cruise to New England - Nova Scotia Cruise. We love to travel together and she has never been east of Kentucky! We are from Arknasas...

This is a September Royal Caribbean Granduer of the Sea cruise, we are excited first time cruisers. Any tips, hints from the more experience crowd would be helpful. My mom just drops hints and what she would like to do on our next vacation, and I take care of everything, so she is relying heavily that I know what I am doing, any education I can receive from now to September would be appreciated! :)
