Love that fact that I might feel young again [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] I'm 47 but hope to look younger after all the relaxation LOL going with mother who is clearly older so maybe not too much relaxation hmmm!

Yikes  I hope no one has butterfingers on my cruise as I'll be travelling solo ... no spares for me
Newbie, if you're on my sailing you can always borrow one of my dresses! [emoji1]

I'm sure all bow tie wearing men will look smart- love a man in a bow tie and DJ, shows he's put the effort in- smart regardless about colour or how it's fastened... Mind you there is something about the ' James Bond look'
The important thing is to enjoy whether on holiday or an event at home.

Drat no chance the as we are booked through an agent - 2 weeks and 2 days and no allocated cabin yet ... I keep looking for the superior stateroom number to appear on my CP rather than the inside cabin expected lol [emoji2]

It could well be a wow if several cabins did that in addition to the auto-tips. I don't know how many tip on top

I shall employ a butler ( assume ships have them) if the mother won't do it!
Well I shall have a dress an evening thank goodness for expanding cases. The only thing I know about the dress code is that there are no jeans after six. I shall wear what I would wear if going to a nice restaurant , I am sure others will dress up each night, if not. Hey ho, it's my holiday
.... Liking the sound of s butler may have to look into that lol Tx

I'm very excited Bob, my first cruise [emoji2] I do enjoy and appreciate the effort people put into to dressing up, gents and ladies, three weeks to go , Britannia round the canaries. Just hope the weather is kind! Tx

Also, assuming, the tip money is paid to them through payroll they will be taxed on it, unlike gratuities paid directly to staff in the traditional way of cash...

Tidy up- my husband [emoji23][emoji23] that is why the mother is coming, she will enjoy tidying the cabin up he he!
Hubby would hate cruising he is a scuba man it would be his worst nightmare being surrounded by sea and not being able to submerge !

With no jeans and t-shirts in sight[emoji1] Mr S is staying at home !!!! [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]

It is a strange one, as a first time cruiser I don't understand. On Britannia it is about three passengers to every crew (roughly) so do they receive £105 per week each appx? Does every crew member get it? Regardless of duties/position?

I did try it on a patch a few days before I went, which is what anyone should do if possible with s different product. ( I have reacted badly to some previously- bad enough to require medical- and those times were staying out of the sun) Rather throw away a bottles worth of sunblock than ruin a holiday!! Everyone is different which is why there are so many varieties I guess.
Wishing all burn and reaction free holidays [emoji2] which ever product is used x

I was dubious the first time I used it, I usually suffer horrendously from heat rash, with the factor 30 got the first week, factor 20 for the second , I didn't rash or burn and that was lying in a bed all day in 40 degrees in and out of the pool ( umbrella cover 12-3). Met a lot of people that use it on children too. P20 comes in factors 20,30and 50

P20 sun lotion is fab , it seems expensive however, only applied once s day. I used it in Egypt last August and no burning or heat rash . There are s few factors to choose from. Once a day application saves carrying it around [emoji2]

Britannia inside cabins
in P&O Cruises ( UK )
Posted
Gaz Roberts photo looks workable for 2 adults+2kids. I am at present in a smaller inside, no way would it work - in fact that photo may not be off the Britannia as that has s window and Britannia is either inside or balcony- be careful, insides at as I have said very small
