Very easy to use people mover .you see the sign and mono rail when u get off ship and walk left out of port then to the right there is ticket machine in foyer .as Jenny wren said you can walk to st marks square ,we took vaporreto down the centre of the grand canal past all sights and Rialto bridge fabulous very cheap to use . Then easy to walk back ( unless you go in every handbag shop ) follow yellow signs on wall high up The ship does vaporreto from port about£15.00 I believe but it takes u to st marks down the external grand canal .enjoyed so much booked again for next year !

We took the people mover ,head to the left out the port and you'll see the sign ,about 15 mins walk you can see it from ship .its a monorail takes you straight to p Roma near station . 1.5 euro single You can take vaparetto down grand canal .it was sunday when we went .off ship early ,we got front seats on vap .st marks square was quiet ! Lots of little places for coffee procecco St marks £50 but depends what you want .venice is a place to wander and people watch . An interesting place to go that is quieter is the Jewish quarter (and old ghetto )turn left past the station Google map . There's a museum and a beautiful art shop . Enjoy !

You can get when you enter but I think more expensive and a queue . We paid on line with nationwide card in dollars ,converted to approx 10 pounds . You could get from travel agent but we booked on line .immigration stamped passport in and out of dalaman airport .
