As for Sierra Nevada, the best beers tend to only be available for a short while and only in the brew pub. Gotta love having a good brewery in town. Ken Grossman did pretty well for a guy who dropped out of college to make beer. He's worth well over a billion dollars today.

Thrak, I assume living in Chico that you've done the SN Beer Geek tour? If you want to see perfection, go visit the brewery in NC...it's AMAZING. (This coming from a guy with the original Pale Ale label inked on his bicep lol) I can't even begin to describe the place to you...makes the Chico taproom look like motel 6 haha

Also if you do Asheville, take the New Belgium tour, they did a great job too. So much beer, so little time.

The whole pizzas we ordered from room service were better than the walk-up. I liked the 5 cheese...only ate in the MDR twice, and my meal was great both nights. (Fettuccine and steak)...French Onion Soup was the best! Loved the cold cuts/cheeses at the buffet as well.

Heard a few rumors of the passing of a passenger in Mazatlan, then during disembarkation, rumor was coroner was late to ship , so that's why the delay in customs. Who knows, all hearsay.

Had a great time, can't wait to do it again!

21st Amendment and Hopwater Distribution are my go to's when in the City. Also stop in at Jack's Cannery Bar near fisherman's wharf area, great local haunt!
