Happy to say Holland America refund in total arrived today! Talked to them 2 days ago, she said it was processed on May 19, took a week to go through banking. The cruise was on Konnigsdam March 15, 44 days around South America. Hang in there if you are still waiting.

Considering what one pays for these rooms one would think the cruise lines would pay these people a good salary. That is the question, what are they paid?

NCL says concierge, butler, youth program staff and beverage service provide service on an individual basis to only some guests and do not benefit from the overall service charge.

I disagree as beverage services get 18%. Wow to get $1.80+ for every drink served!
