I change 2-3 times per day but many items may be worn more than once during the cruise. I've only cruised to the Caribbean. I usually have a day clothes (shorts, shirt or casual dress), then change for dinner, and then often change to jeans or something for hanging out at karaoke or seeing a band or something. It's chilly in the evening inside with the AC. Wearing items like formal wear or jeans (that I don't get sweaty in) more than once makes this possible without bringing a ton of stuff.

We have always flown to our cruises but will be driving this time. I know there is a secured parking area right at the Jacksonville port but it is like $15 a day. I have come across other nearby parking options that are much less and have free transportation to the port. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience they can share from. Recommendations? I would prefer a secured lot and not just leave our car at the hotel for a week. Thank you!

We flew down same day one time for a cruise. It was May in NY so I wasn't worried about snow but hadn't thought about all the other problems that could occur. Well the night before, the crew got in late and in order to get their required amount of rest, our morning flight was going to be delayed. We wouldn't have known until morning if my brother-in-law who worked at the airport hadn't notified us (it was maybe 11pm). That flight change in the morning would have ruined our connecting flights and we would have missed our cruise. Fortunately due to the heads up, we were able to call and make arrangements to leave from a different airport and my father-in-law drove us there in the middle of the night. When I had called to change our flights, they didn't even have records yet of the delay for the morning. I was so thankful for my BIL for looking out for us. It was very stressful and will never travel the same day of the cruise again.

If our cabin is ready we drop off our carry on. Then I always like to make sure we know where our dining room is in relation to our room. On Carnival Ships there are little maps of the ship at the information desk and I always grab one; it's very helpful. Then we explore our way to the food. I like to have a pretty good idea of where everything is before we sail away.

Does anyone have any experience in the different parking options near the Jacksonville port? I main one is like $15 a day. I have located some other options but would love to hear of anyone's personal experiences. I've always flown to FL and taken a shuttle but we are driving this time. Thanks!

I've been looking for a post from other EO lovers! I will no doubt be traveling with all my oils! I'm not flying so I don't have to worry about that but I would take them in my carry on. But I believe you want to avoid them being put through X-ray. I'm not positive but I believe asking them to wand them is better.
I will be using them for all my normal stuff like face, in my water, allergies, sleep, etc but I will also be using them to keep us healthy from all the germs you are exposed to when traveling with thousands of people. :)
