Ellianne,
I was already mentally composing my post about how the diners were missing out by passing on the grits, when I saw your post. They truly don't know what they are missing!

My husband and I each have a platinum card. I don't recall getting any notification about Admiral's Club. Though it may have gone to my husband's office, and he just didn't mention it. AA is not my airline of choice, we rarely fly them, so that may be why. I am more concerned about the other airlines club rooms. We use US Air fairly often. If I understood Sail's post, she is saying we are losing all club access?

So, when did all of these Amex platinum benefits change? We took our last cruise in October 2014. Got our onboard credit, PG dinner, champagne, etc. We are leaving Saturday on the Westerday. My TA didn't tell me that anything would be different, we have been cruising with Amex for years and years, always the status quo.
Sail, when did the airline lounges access disappear? We don't always use this perk because our home airport (New Orleans) doesn't have any lounges for the lines we fly, but we have used this perk numerous times and would miss it if we lose it. Shouldn't we have gotten some kind of notification from Amex Platinum if this were to be eliminated?P.

Someone told me that non-Haven guests can purchase passes for access to the Haven. Is this so? Seems that would defeat the purpose of booking a Haven suite. Trying to escape the crowds is what I would consider the advantage of being in the Haven.

Oh, and by the way, I did have "true" hominy grits on the Westerdam this past March. Really happy to see them!
