AHHH can't wait to get there. Lounge or no lounge. :) I have FTTF we are taking off... Soon? Landing at 11:45!
-
Is there a day on board (other than port I know about those...) that they offer good spa specials? I ran out of time to get my nails done before the cruise? :( leaving today!
-
Yes, I received my "Drink on us Card" in January. Maybe that has to do with it? She just said they were running promotions and I was picked.
What is a drinks on us card?
-
Ahh. I just want to be able to face time our kids once or twice. :)

What is the new internet package? Does the miracle have it?
-
Thanks! We don't get in until 10.30pm so not like we will miss much. Once again, much appreciated!
I hope you're coming in the day before! :)

To each his own, but there is no way I would take a shuttle from LAX to Long Beach.:) For $21 more I take a town car.:)
Who do you use for a town car?
How long is the drive? Not on a shuttle.

Awesome!!

I have never used uber. My only fear is landing and not having any cars to take us... I figured worst case we would take a taxi and end up paying more. Not the end of the world I suppose

We fly in Saturday to LAX. I was thinking Uber from LAX to Long Beach for a carnival cruise. We land at 11:45 am and have FTTF. Flying in virgin America. We take off at 1:00 pm on May 16. Flying out delta. Should we have an issue with uber? I have never used uber but the price wasn't bad.

Just something to keep in mind, he may not want to go. We did Carnival when my son was just about 2, they take 2 year olds. Even though my 4 year old went and would have been with him he screamed and screamed, and if they don't want to stay they won't take them.
Thanks Megann I understand what you're saying. Fortunately for me this is not something my son struggles with lol.
-
Thanks a bunch! Hopefully they will add more ships. This is why we use carnival. My kids could all go have fun. This will be our first NCL. Excited to try it out though.
-
OMG can we lease have ONE thread where someone is NOT posting about convenience charges!! SO NOT FUNNY ANYMORE....
This is apparently an NCL thing? Lol ... Is there really a charge? We were told there wasn't...

Whenever I have flown to Houston , from be times, I've either been delayed or cancelled. I realize this doesn't help. I just have terrible luck at that airport. I have been delayed, boarded, unboarded, boarded, unboarded, then been cancelled all for just one flight one time! Worst part the last time we boarded we were literally about to take off and had to go back to the gate....
I wouldn't cut it close. There's very little room for error. Anything

I have never sailed NCL before but we have a cruise planned for next year on the escape. However I know when we booked this was the only ship that did have care for under 3 year olds. My son will be 2 at sailing and we want to be able to drop him to play.

Is it better to just use either mine or my husbands sail and sign in the casino or to use both? Does it matter?
I like game plans haha. :)
-
Oh cool. Good to know. We got 2,000 in gift cards (thanks Verizon). Can't wait to use it in May! We plan to use it all at the casino anyways haha

Thanks constipated cruiser... I actually am a CPA. Which was why the questions regarding international tax.
Also typically you can request that they withhold. Or you can always start playing some scratch lotto tickets to offset some of those winnings ;) just keep them for 3 years!
-
The amount at one shot is 1200. So anything under 1199 is good, but I was curious about the international waters.
Thanks a bunch for the info :)
-
Just curious how gambling winnings while on board in international seas is treated? Do you receive a 1099? Or no since you're "international"... Do you pay foreign taxes on it? Thanks! As you can see... I am planning to win [emoji23]
-
Very curious how this will effect me. We had an issue getting our FTTF a passes so carnival set some aside for us. They will charge our sail and sign card. I wonder if I will have it at the price the time I purchased or the new price... And yes I do plan on arguing over that $10! [emoji2]

So new to gambling on the ship... What does drinks on us include?
-
Edit : yes I did see the dates above but I heard May for a bunch of ships?
