  1. To each his own, but there is no way I would take a shuttle from LAX to Long Beach.:) For $21 more I take a town car.:)

Who do you use for a town car?

How long is the drive? Not on a shuttle.

  2. I have never used uber. My only fear is landing and not having any cars to take us... I figured worst case we would take a taxi and end up paying more. Not the end of the world I suppose

  3. We fly in Saturday to LAX. I was thinking Uber from LAX to Long Beach for a carnival cruise. We land at 11:45 am and have FTTF. Flying in virgin America. We take off at 1:00 pm on May 16. Flying out delta. Should we have an issue with uber? I have never used uber but the price wasn't bad.

  4. Just something to keep in mind, he may not want to go. We did Carnival when my son was just about 2, they take 2 year olds. Even though my 4 year old went and would have been with him he screamed and screamed, and if they don't want to stay they won't take them.

Thanks Megann I understand what you're saying. Fortunately for me this is not something my son struggles with lol.

  5. OMG can we lease have ONE thread where someone is NOT posting about convenience charges!! SO NOT FUNNY ANYMORE....

This is apparently an NCL thing? Lol ... Is there really a charge? We were told there wasn't...

  6. Whenever I have flown to Houston , from be times, I've either been delayed or cancelled. I realize this doesn't help. I just have terrible luck at that airport. I have been delayed, boarded, unboarded, boarded, unboarded, then been cancelled all for just one flight one time! Worst part the last time we boarded we were literally about to take off and had to go back to the gate....

I wouldn't cut it close. There's very little room for error. Anything

  7. I have never sailed NCL before but we have a cruise planned for next year on the escape. However I know when we booked this was the only ship that did have care for under 3 year olds. My son will be 2 at sailing and we want to be able to drop him to play.

  8. Thanks constipated cruiser... I actually am a CPA. Which was why the questions regarding international tax.

Also typically you can request that they withhold. Or you can always start playing some scratch lotto tickets to offset some of those winnings ;) just keep them for 3 years!

  9. Very curious how this will effect me. We had an issue getting our FTTF a passes so carnival set some aside for us. They will charge our sail and sign card. I wonder if I will have it at the price the time I purchased or the new price... And yes I do plan on arguing over that $10! [emoji2]
