If not much difference in price, I would grab the JS 1406 or 1706. Have had them and tons of spacious room.

Thanks will step over there also.

Doing Reflection and have cabin 2206 (2215) is same on port side. Has the "quirky" balcony. Any input or pictures on that one? Looks fun....and get a little breeze yet covered from the overhand. Not all day sun bunnies here!

I would plan on no fly before noon still. The time to get there is about 45 mins or so but getting off the ship you may not get there until about 11. Security is tough at Seattle.....long lines quite a few times.

A lot of the hotels on Griffin (Dania Beach) have a shuttle that takes you to various eateries. You might want to call the front desk.
2 weeks ago we had a great meal with 30 people from our group at Sal's Italian Restaurante in the Oakwood Plaza (the hotels shuttle to that shopping plaza and the eateries.
It was great. They served 30 people without a hitch and on a Thursday night it was packed ... food and beverage was great and reasonable.

Yes on most ships we back in one time then forward in the next so no rhyme or reason for the choice to us passengers at that time. Was just odd on this one with Costa Maya, Cozumel, Falmouth and Labadee we did end up starboard on all.
We just went to places to see that side which was fine. Our sea views were as always fantastic1

We are people watchers and have cruised many times. So sometimes do not get off ship instead watching the port and the people.
Well we just did the Oasis of the Seas and love to be on the port side. BUT, each time we docked at any port we docked with the starboard side at the dock. Now, on other ships (32 of them!) sometimes we dock on each side. But this time.....was only starboard.
So when you sailed the Oasis or Allure for example does it always do a starboard side next to the dock? If so, we may change rooms.
Thanks for any info!

We just got off our first Oasis cruise (after 32 others) so just a few tidbits:
1) we had an ocean balcony. Would not have a Boardwalk one "just because for us" however saying that you will have plenty to see and watch people....a good thing....and off past the Aquatheater yes you will see water
2) Diamond Lounge is 2 levels ..... will be crowded so depending on your dinner time "plan" between the 2 dinner times is the easiest....enter on deck 11 midship
3) enjoy the Central Park area at night.....listen to the entertainment.....
4) Pool area....on port day....we had 2 pools totally by ourselves for an hour in each....BY OURSELVES! seemed other times plenty of chairs
5) enjoy the upper decks....15 and 16 ... for a quiet spot try deck 5 (take stairs next to Aquatheater and go sit along the walking track).....Solarium also age 16 and up is a good place to sit
6) FAVORITE breakfast spots were....Wipe Out Cafe and Johnnys Rockets (free then). Wipe Out Cafe by far
7) FAVORITE lunch spots were....Park Cafe and Solarium Bistro
Shows we enjoyed: (and remember you can go stand by to them if space)
Aquatheater....you might can see this one from your room
Come Fly With Me was pretty nice
The Frozen in Time...ice skating we enjoyed
Comedy we didn't make it to that one
Cats-were told by everyone including crew we would sleep thru it so didn't go
We were on for the 8 day run and only got off once and never had problems with seating, people watching (will say deck 5 promenade gets a bit frantic at times so don't let that snag you up!), eating and no lines. Only ate Windjammer once (not our favorite on this ship.....love it on Radiance class). And No dining room (our choice).
Hope this little bit helps. Ask questions.

Checking your google doc...looks like Federico will be our Concierge....not familiar with this one! Look forward to new people!

Was it us you saw? we all carry tubes....the blow up kind...must have the 30 inch variety to "get them on". We blow them up and un do them when we leave fold up to nothing. Then we also have pap a sun (?) chairs that fold up in a circle to sit in. Easy to pack in the bottom of a suitcase. When we have a group you will see all of us! Usually buy the tubes at end of the season at very discount type stores...couple of bucks apiece. Always take enough with you plus 1 extra for "holes".

We bought the drink package about 2 months ago for November was 20% off. Drink cards are usually sold on ship about 5 days before end of cruise. Something like 10 for $80.

Having never been on Oasis, but our show schedule just showed up....all booked! hope we like the shows.

Thanks for the answers. Had thought the musters would be inside since not a really "outside" area. We are on the 11th deck this time. The ship is our destination for this one instead of the ports. May stay on since been there and done that except Labadee!!!! Relax and chillax!

After 30 some cruises, we are finally going on the Oasis. So hints please! Favorite places to "people watch"? Favorite bar hangout if you have one? Shows which ones not to miss? Where were the muster stations .... some of them at least?
Chat away!

We usually ended up at Ballantyne....so hope that is the one that is not used! Canada Place is lovely!
I watch the port cams from there. P.S. the QuickCoach was worth every penny we paid.

We did QuickCoach and loved it. You do need to tell them which pier you would pick up the coach at or location. It was quite enjoyable and easy. You do have to disembark at the border. You take anything you brought on the bus (nothing from underneath the bus) with you. They go thru it and whoosh back on. Took less than 30 mins for all of us. This saves on the wait at the border....very efficient.
Then in Seattle they let off at 2 locations. 1 was the airport where you can catch Hotel shuttles or grab a cab or the rail line easy to do. Or 2 was downtown at a street corner.

Walking around Oslo seems very doable with the guide book I got so figure that will be us....walking. We don't do ATM's so may bring a "little" local cash like you said for buses. And if I don't spend can make a souvenir out of it.

What is the feeling about having the right currency with us? or just credit card everything? or ideas please for those that have been there

We stayed there in February. I used points due to pricing. The rooms are usually ready close to 3 not many are ready early. They will store luggage. There is a shuttle from there to the Bahia Mar on the hour until about 5 p.m. if you want to go to Ft. Lauderdale beach....or walk to the corner near Walgreens and take the $1 Sun Trolley to the beach. It will drop you off a variety of places.
Nice hotel and pool. We got an intercoastel room. This put us with watching the traffic. be warned....sometimes there is a boat parked in front of your room.
Prices for beverages and food high here. IF you are Gold and above you get the free continental breakfast and can upgrade for $8 to a full breakfast.
Hope this helps.

Back from the 10 day Serenade and at this time in the CL is Gamaliel or Gama who is a strictly by the book person FYI. Very nice when talking with him one on one...we had a great lunch with him.
A new Diamond Concierge was coming on this week Dean ? some seemed to know him.

Thanks that did answer a lot of the questions.

Can anyone explain best Seattle areas to stay?
in West Coast Departures
Posted
We use public transportation in lots of places. In Seattle (our kids lived near by), we have ended up staying at the Hilton at SEATAC. Why? you can walk across the parking deck and out to the hotel (but they have an airport shuttle so no worry there). Then you are 1/2 block away from the Rail Line and zips you to say Pioneer Square, or Westlake where we can get to all the sights...the ferries....and such. Sometimes better rates there and a lovely hotel.
This isn't quite helping your question but may be an option.
