Why do people complain...... you are on vacation, you don't have to cook, clean or go to work... enjoy the ship, enjoy having drinks in the sun by the pool, enjoy the ports you are going to. IT IS A VACATION PEOPLE!!!! Every cruise line and every ship I am sure has things people don't like, but if you choose this ship, the cabin you are in, etc. It was your choice.

The fact that other lanai guests could see me on my private area was enough for me to not book one (let alone pay the prices). I have a feeling Vista is going to be the only ship with these cabins as they'll be modified for her sister.

 

I am sure John said something about wristbands/keycards only allowing guests to pass through certain areas in Havana? Although that does beg the question can people bring guests with them? The only way around this is havingstaffing on the doors.

 

I am a bit jealous of those that booked the Havana balconies above deck 5 though! :)

From what I have read, only the people who have Havana Cabanas can access this area. They can not bring guests in who are not in the Havana area. The guests who are in these cabins have wrist bands and key cards.

Update September 2015: While Harbor Night has ended this year, another Wednesday event called 'October Lights' will replace Harbor Nights and would run through October on Front Street. It's portrayed as the magical version of Harbor Nights with lots of light related activities plus many arts & crafts display, unique gift items, food & activities for kids etc.

I read that Harbor Lights street fair has been cancelled as of September of 2015. Does anyone know if this is true?

Can you bring on your own bottled water and soda on the Breakaway? If so, how many bottles of water could you bring and can we just place it in a bag or does it have to be in luggage?

I am not a gambler (but my husband is) does anyone know if the casino is open while we are in port in Bermuda. We are sailing on the Breakaway in June.

We'll be in 12272 in August. The balcony is supposed to be a little larger due to the angle shape. When we return, I'll report about our cabin in the sticky about cabin information.

Found this via Google image search. The couch doesn't extend out any further that it is in its normal couch state--It's just made up into a bed for sleeping with linens and pillows.

 

Is this a regular size cabin?
