This morning Ncl would refund money if denied boarding. Now you get a FCC

This was changed before White House recommended older people shouldn’t travel on cruise ships

I wanted to bring my drone as well but finding a place to recharge the batteries was going to be a pain. Plus where we are going was 220volts. I would need adapter and then find a restaurant or bar to let me recharge 

We are cruising with NCL on the Star this March.  Ncl gave us the 25% FCC. for changing and canceling the ports we were to visit.  The port change was made after final payment.  What they don't mention is that the FCC cruise is only good for 1 year from the original cruise.  You can't book a cruise and then travel later than 1 year from original sail date.

This is fine with people that cruise often but we don't, and the 25% FCC may be worthless to us.

I have stayed in cabin 0001 twice. Never had any noise from the aerobics classes above.

The port times are not as good

And heading into waves can be rougher

We stayed twice at Hotel Da Vinci in Valparaiso

We would stay there again if we go back

Clean hotel and wonderful staff

Very reasonable costs. Located within walking distance of many good restaurants

For anyone who was on the recent repositioning cruise of the NCL Sun from Miami to South America, did NCL provide a shuttle from the port of Callao into downtown Lima (either paid or unpaid)?

 

We will be on the upcoming repositioning cruise on the Sun from San Antonio, Chile to Miami, and would appreciate any information on this. We don't particularly want to take an excursion, but would like a reliable way to get to and from the port into Lima.

The port shuttle takes you just outside the dockyard

There were taxis there and you can pickup your private tours there

Was a little hectic but was safe

We did that trip in 2015

Weather can and will change quickly. We were lucky it was never cold. Dress like an onion and head out for the day

People were in pool Most of trip

Faulkland islands were very nice weather most of day. Not cold but spring like. Had sun rain sun

It being a 15 day cruise, i'll make 1 reservation in advance for later in the cruise and wing the rest

We are on the Sun in December this year. We have the sdp this trip for 4 dinners

We don't like to plan our dinner times or days in advance. Any problems with making reservations or walk up the day we would like to eat at these restaurants?

We are flexible on dining times, later the better.

Or should we just make reservations in advance and change once were aboard?

I need some clarification on using OBC shore excursion credits.

I am eligible to get 10% off excursions, I have the $50.00 per port credit.

I also have $175.00 OBC.

Can I apply the 10% and get the $50.00 port credit then pay for the excursions using the $175.00 OBC?

I know the $50.00 will be applied to account after the shore excursion.

I wasn't sure if NCL allowed multiple discounts
