If I remember correctly you can set a limit in the spending on their ss cards i believe you can do that at any time. Also paradise was mine and my wife's first cruise and it is a lovely ship. Have fun!!

I am not gay myself, however on my last carnival cruise I saw several gay couples and they appeared to be treated the same as my wife and I. Also my cousin, who is gay, said he and his partner had a blast on a cruise last year with carnival. Hope that helps.

My wife and I will be leaving on the 25th on our first cruise on the Paradise. She is concerned about luggage restrictions as the carnival website is rather vague. We have a piece of luggage that is 27 inches tall if i measure from the wheels up to the top (standing up) but if you measure it laying flat on the bed it fits the carnival criteria. She just wants to make sure they wont reject her bag or something. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and I will be leaving on our first cruise at the end of May and this site has been a wonderful source of information and help. My wife did have one concern or question however. She wanted to know what everyone does with their bags or items while on excursions or on a boat to go snorkeling or something. Do you just not bring anything or do you lock them somehow? Any advice is appreciated.
