I just came back from cruising with the MSC Preziosa from Aug. 21-28 sailing the Mediterranean and it was my worst cruise of the 4 I've been on. Previously I was on Holland America and 2 Carnival cruises. The services are terrible specially in the buffet areas. We had to fight to get a table everyday. I remembered one day because my hubby was so seasick I went to the medical center, the woman was lecturing me about why my hubby was so sick! My kids rooms were all smelled of smokes. I believe other people were smoking in their rooms so the smokes were coming in to our kids' rooms. We did complain, they did come to clean and it did not work. The bands on the ship were very boring. The over all mood of the ship is not good. The workers don't seem to care and no smiling faces. The ship is pretty new and yet the carpet is not well kept! I would not go on another MSC cruise ship!

Hi, we just came back from Marseille. I believe the fare from the train station to the port for my family of 4 is $27 Euros. On the way back because our hotel is across from the train station, it cost us $60 Euros to go to the airport. Hope this helps.

I just came back from our cruise and I am so disappointed. We always had problem finding a table to eat in the buffet areas. The free shuttle bus was not clearly indicated in the Daily Program at Valencia Port. Many cruisers went ahead and booked the $12.90/person to go to the city centre, because they didn't know there were free shuttle to the terminal so we can take the city bus for about $4!!! We booked a total of 5 rooms on deck 12 and our kids 2 rooms always smelled of smokes. We did call and complained and they did try to clear the air and that didn't help. The only good things from this cruise are the ports.

Originally we had cabin 10086 but I checked the deck plan and thought it is too far in the back so I asked the agent to change. Now the new assigned cabin I don't like it at all. I just emailed the agent and asked her to look for the cabin number as you suggested. Thanks so much for your help.

Thanks for the information Skier. Now I have a choice of 8130, 8131, 8144, 8145. Are alll the cabins all deck 8 have the same problem with the lifeboat in front?

Hi all, I am new to this forum so not sure where to post my question. We will be on the Preziosa leaving from Marseille to the following ports: Genoa, Civitavecchia, Palermo, Cagliari, Palma de Mallorca, Valencia. We like to book some excursions before we go.
