Has anyone been to PR recently that can comment on the cell service? I know that San Juan is likely better than other places, since I've been reading many places have power back in the main city. Just wondering how communication will be once my party is off the ship!

Hi. I'm from PR and yes, you will have time to get to the port. Airport to port is like 15 to 25 minutes. Right in front of the ports (depends on what port you will be) the Embassy suites hotel have a Avis car rental on the lobby.

I'm local and honestly after do a atv tour in ST Maarten and St Kitts I can't recommend any atv tour in PR. In Carabali I pay 140.00 for 2 hour tour and you can only see the "Hacienda". But if you really want an atv tour. Search for Hacienda Carabali in the internet.

Check Embassy Suites convention center. Is in that price range. December and January are hi season for PR because everyone wants to escape the snow.

I don't travel to Chicago in some time but if you can find something below 300.00 it's a great deal. 350.00 it's most likely. The last time I travel to ORD was 3 years ago and I pay 278.00 round trip.

Get a pass. The tolls are automatics. One line is for recharge or buy a new label but the others are automatics. And yes you can right turn on red in almost 90% of the intersections. And when you don't they have a [emoji724]

You will be fine. OSJ have a lot of police presence just to make sure all the visitors can enjoy SJ without any issues. I go there almost every weekend and never have any problem.

You can find a great mofongo in brain freezee. La Cueva Del Mar is more "traditional" and you can find pastelillos and arroz mamposteao. And a great passion fruit mojito. Depends on the day you will going. On a week they close around 9pm weekend they close maybe 12 to 2am

Yes. I recommend La Cueva Del Mar, Brain freezee, La mala vida. For drink you can't miss Los 3 Cuernos where you can find the "chichaito" shot in 20 or more flavors.

You need to be at the airport at 12 to 12:30 if is weekday there will be a lot of traffic from Cataño (were Bacardi is) to the airpot. Maybe 30 minutes. So you need to leave Bacardi from 11 to 11:30am

Uber can't pick you up in the airport or any hotel in SJ. They still fighting with local taxis to do that.

Whatever I going on vacations my family and close friends want to go with me. I never have the idea of going on cruise until now. The result is 28 new crusers going this December 4 in the Norwegian Gem.
