Waiter - Leo
Assistant - Hatice
Ship: Mariner
Will NEVER forget them. Hatice was the sweetest person EVER! If you get the chance to have them serve you, you're LUCKY! They were wonderful!

I guess, for me, it was Kermit, hands down. I just can't get enough of the pie dipped in chocolate. I thought it had the best flavor. But HEY, don't cheat yourself and go try them ALL! :)

Upper Sandusky, Ohio. (No where near Cedar Point) If you take a map and draw a straight line from Columbus to Toledo, we're just about exactly half waybetween. Most everyone has eaten at our McDonald's because it's the ONLY thing on about 4 major state routes for miles and miles...

Becky on the Mariner (CD) I hear she's now on the Rhapsody. Whatever ship she's on is LUCKY, she was a HOOT!
DH, Captain Johnny and I. Captain Johnny is a really neat guy. I really enjoyed talking to him. I wish I had picked up his book.
If you look closely, That a frighter cruising into my Corona bottle while sunning on an at sea day, top deck, Mariner. I KNOW the commercial shows a sailboat, but there just weren't any within photographing range that day...
And finally, partying it up in the Wig and Gavel after a long week of teaching, airports, and stress. We both look so relaxed and ready for fun!
Fooey, I tried to get them to copy right to the post, but it didn't work...

LOCAL VILLAGE BAR vs. JACK'S SHACK Grand Turk
in Grand Turk
Posted
We were just there last Thursday and it made my BEST OF THE CRUISE list - and it was a great cruise. I found Jack and Janet to be warm and welcoming. They called my husband and I by first name after being introduced only once and despite being busy, answered our questions and chummed around with us like we were old friends. I even got a hug upon leaving. The jerk was AWESOME and worth every penny of $11 (with a large helping of fries - 3 good sized pieces of chicken. Filled us up). The drinks were just strong enough. I played around in the water with Topher while DH relaxed. We will go back every time we're in Grand Turk and would honestly book a cruise JUST BECAUSE we can go back to Jack's. Because of our experience (with Oasis Divers and Jack's) we now want to do an extended stay on Grand Turk. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to people who want a laid back beach experience.
