  1. We haven't sailed since before Covid and are booked for a cruise in early September. I just was able to book our shows but unlike previous cruises I did not see the option to book a headliner show or comedy show. Is this something new that Royal Caribbean is doing?

  2. If you are looking for a nice beach to go to, then do it on your own. Like others have said there are numerous beach clubs that are perfect for families. My family has enjoyed Paradise Beach Club numerous times. There are plenty of water activities for children (fee) and the prices for food and drinks are reasonable. It is a short taxi ride from the port. If you are looking to go downtown to do some shopping, don't. We were just there in October and many of the shops that use to be there are now closed. It seems that most have moved to the shopping area at the pier.

  3. As soon as you get your confirmation number try to log into the website and make reservations for the shows. If there is no availability, don’t worry because there are standby lines for each show so you will be able to see everything.

As far as Labadee goes it is their private destination. Once you decide to get off the ship find a place on the beach and sit back and enjoy your free cruise. Lunch is provided on the land as well as bar service. There is also a zip line and gravity type roller coaster.

Oasis is a great ship. Do some last minute research and enjoy your cruise.

  4. Depending on how many people are in your party, you might want to look at a town car, van or limo from one of the limo companies in Orlando. We have done this several times and it provides a nice way to start and end your vacation. I found that for a family of four it was about the same price as using the cruise line shuttles and everything was done at our leisure. The company also provided for a stop if needed at say a Walgreens or any location of your choice.

  5. I haven't done the parking there yet, but from what I have read on previous posts it is pretty easy. Some say that traffic may be a little heavy depending on the time you arrive but others say you can drop your luggage off at the porters and then go and park. Upon returning, walking to the garage with your luggage or returning to pick up is suppose to be easy as well.

  6. We just got off Allure on the 11th and this was our first time as Diamond. The DL is on deck 11 and was open from 5-830pm. It was very crowded the two nights we went in and took quite a long time for drink service. I was told that there were approx. 700 diamond and above passengers on board. The DL was nice and the appetizers served were good. We ended up using the three preloaded drinks on our sea pass cards instead of battling through the crowds in the lounge each night.

  7. We have stayed at the Springhill Suites many times. When you are ready just go to the lobby and ask the front desk to call a cab for you and tell them how many people are in your party. You may be able to get a van. Make sure you go outside to wait because it usually doesn't take long for one to arrive and you don't want someone else taking your ride.

  8. The comedians performing changes every so often, so the material on one cruise may be different from the cruise you are going on. I have been to the comedy club on Oasis and I would say that the shows were adult themed but not "X-rated". I don't think your 18 year old daughter would hear anything during the show that she hasn't heard already in life. My 18 year old daughter attended the show and was fine.

  9. We are still trying to decide what to do during our port day in St. Kitts. What would be the closest beach to the port that would offer chair/umbrella rentals as well as the opportunity to rent jet skis? How long and cost of a taxi to the beach?

  10. We will be in St. Kitts in January and were planning on going to Carambola Beach Club. After speaking with them they realized that there is a private function booked for the day we are in port. I looked at the Marriott, but would like some other options. Any help is appreciated. This is purports visit to St. Kitts and we're looking for a nice beach with chairs/umbrellas as wells as food, drink and clean facilities.
