FYI someone was fishing from their balcony on deck 11 when we were stuck on the reef. The Norwegian team wasn't too happy about that!

This is my first cruise with Norwegian. I'm just impressed and feel like they are doing everything possible to take care of us and ensure our safety :)

Some people will do anything for attention I guess? Nope we are in no way suffering. This situation could be much worse! I'm thankful that everything on the ship is up and running and that we aren't stranded out in the middle of the ocean!

I'm sure they have because this is a huge black eye for them. The Boston media reports are relentless and people who are not so positive about the situation are being interviewed on Boston TV stations.

 

That's really too bad because the captain and crew have done an outstanding job of keeping us updated and comfortable. All of our fellow passengers seem to be positive and in good spirits.

The maitre d in the Venetian told us that Norwegian corporate has flown in to oversee the inspections.

That's good to know. I hope we are able to sail home tonight!

 

Captain just announced we can go ashore but have to be back on board by noon

Good morning everyone! Norwegian Dawn is safely at anchor and will weigh anchor in about one hour and proceed to Heritage Wharf. Celebrity summit will then transit the North Channel and berth at Kings wharf. Norwegian Breakaway will then proceed to Grassy Bay and tender her passengers to the charter boat dock. At approximately 1700 hours today Norwegian Dawn will proceed to Boston and Norwegian Breakaway will then come alongside to Heritage Wharf.

 

That's good to know. I hope we are able to sail home tonight!

I'm on board the dawn. We just got towed back to the dockyard. There is another ship coming in but I'm not sure which one it is.
