I would agree with the other posters that Ravenna has world class mosaics and Bologna marvelous sites (and food) but if you have not been to Venice it is very much worth a few days.

Thanks to everyone for their answers to my question reBonare golf carts and kudos to the OP for a very interesting thread.
Thanks again

Sorry to hijack this thread (very interesting BTW) but could you store a rollator/Walker on one of these carts?. Would need that to explore if/when we stop.
Thanks

On our sailing from Seward on Millennium it was not the first day. We asked and were told that people board at so many different times in Seward due to getting there. They didn’t want people to miss it, so they had it on a different day. Totally understandable and not a problem for us
That was almost exactly what we were told last August inSeward.

We had no problem requesting a table for two on our Alaska cruise last year.

I seem to remember on a similar thread to this not long ago that a suite guest asked for a bath to drawn by the host/butler. Not my thing but to each his own😀

I booked one on Millenium for August on a big box TA website.

I've been very delinquent in adding my thanks to Jim for this excellent travelog. Best wishes for a safe return America.

Funny you should say that. After entering in our freq flyer number and other information on the FBC website, the tickets that I reserved did not have either of our freq flyer numbers attached. It took two separate phone calls with one hour wait times each to finally get that fixed. Actually, it is not that funny.
I had a similar problem but in my case it was the full spelling of my name. Celebrity dropped my middle name, United had it in my Mileage Plus profile. Again it took a number of calls to resolve.

Huge generalization but I would say that most Brits eat later than Americans but earlier than Spaniards.

WE HAD THE AFTERNOON TA-SCONES, CUCUMBER,SANDWICHES ETC on the Millenium on sea days at 4pm. I miss the time it was in the dining room with service, but at last they had this. You have to read your daily very well to find these kind of things!
It’s highlighted in the daily planner? We’re going on Millenium in August (fingers crossed) and we’d love to indulge 😀

Went to Celebrity website yesterday and the OBC has been applied 😀

Nothing yet. Called today, they suggested I apply again, which I have done.

And cruising Summit, you’ll not be sharing the ship with another 3,000 more passengers as you would with Allure and Oasis....yup, lots of climbing walls and zip lines and such, but if you’ve cruised a lot, I bet you’ll love the Summit!
And yes, it is a good deal.

Not really pertinent to the original post but Summit only has approx., 2,500 passengers and no climbing walls or zip lines, except perhaps on executions 😀
FLL Luggage Valet Service
in Celebrity Cruises

I have to use a Walker and this service worked very well for my wife and I when leaving the Equinox earlier this year. Placed the bags outside our door the night before debarkation and didn’t see them again unitil Washington luggage carousel!
