Hi
We're going to Palermo in April with the Epic and thinking about signing up for 4 hr Wine tour, we're in port from 0800 to 1700, will there be enough time to do this tour and then use the hop on hop off to explore the city ?

Experience from the Escape is that everything is included (including multiple appetisers and sides) except that you are limited to one entree.
Thanks for your help. I was a bit gutted as I only bought the package for La Bistro & Cagneys

One way to decide is to check out the new menu, "decide" what you think you two most likely want to order and add it up for both of you including 18% gratuity. Then compare it to a package price and that will help decide what is the better value.

I've got the package can you tell me how that works in the a la carte restaurants?
Thanks

Do you know if the same is true in the reverse direction meaning from the ship to the airport? Also does this include taxi vans? We are a party of four so we would need a vehicle large enough for us and our suitcases. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

It is the same both ways but I don't know if it would apply to a taxi van. The signs in the taxi window shows 29 euros & then a charge per person & for each large bag. We've done it twice, once each way & it was 39 each time. Another couple at our meet & greet had also been charged 39 euros

A taxi from Barcelona airport to the port is a set 39 euros. They know exactly where to drop you off if you tell them which ship. Never had to queue for one either.

Hi,also new cruiser with Norwegian and see that dress code calls for shirts with collars in various dining areas . How strictly is this applied as a large number of my smarter shirts are in the no collared variety, not T Shirts but cotton button through.Any guidance gratefully accepted.

We have just got back from our epic cruise, myself, wife and 2 boys11,8. We purchased the spa pass in advance though myncl. IMO thge spa pass was well worth it, whilst the boys were at kids club we had 2 hr everyday to relax in there. We didn't go in on the sea day as we knew it was going to be busy , but on the first port day, there was only us in there. by the end of the week the most we saw in there was about 10 people, so still lots of room and facilities for everyone. The spa is open 10 am til 10 pm everyday. anything els you want to know about the cruise just ask me. Have a great time, we did. The boat did not feel overcrowded to us except at peak lunch hours. Now we have done a mega ship we have been spoilt, i dont think we could go back to smaller ones now.
Hi I've bought spa passes but having not had them before I'm not sure about spa etiquette. Do they have snacks & drinks in the spa? Are the changing rooms single sex or mixed & are there lockers for personal possessions? Thanks in advance for your help

Bed is beside balcony.
Which do you think is the better layout, bed by the balcony or nearer the door?

Hello!
My husband and I are both in our 20s and have booked the Epicnfor the same Med. Cruise. We have never been to Europe before and are nervous/excited. I have questions about flying to Barcelona? Tips for what hotel and transfer between airport, hotel, and port? We don't want to look completely losybover there. Also on ports...is it better to book a tour or explore on our own? Never being over seas, anything and everything is interesting and we are on a budget! Any help and or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Hi
We were in Barcelona earlier this year for the second time. The taxis have a fixed price from the airport to the port, I'm pretty sure it was 39 euros. I love the Gothic quarter & would recommend looking for a hotel in that area. I've loved both the ones we stayed in. The bars & cafes are lovely, love the tapas & everyone has been friendly & helpful. Beware of bars on La Ramblas that don't list prices for drinks, they are total tourist traps. We got caught with 20 euros for a glass of beer! I love Barcelona & we're going back in October :) Hope you have a fantastic holiday :D

There was a guy from Newcastle when we were on board in Nov '15. He wasn't on the Spa desk he was in the gym & tried very hard to sell us some sort of fitness/health package which was on top of the spa access
