  1. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean websites were recently redesigned and your old log in information will not work. In fine form no notice was sent out about this change. Both websites look the same now. I also tried booking online at Royal Caribbean and it did not recognize my Crown and Anchor number. You will need to make a phone call to have your account reset.

     

     

     

    Hmm - no issues for either my partner or I, still using the user name / password combination we setup years ago....but I do agree Royal must hire some interesting people to do their websites

  3. They typically offer to move you to specific similar sailings for the same price. If none of those work, you can haggle with them. So, look at other itineraries so you're prepared to have that conversation.

     

     

     

    Exactly what happened to us, moved to a different cruise, same fare honored even though the new cruise was higher plus additional OBC incentives added

  4. I am the original poster, thank - you for all your replies. Just wanted to tell you my facts if I didn't make myself clear; yes my airline tickets showed TSA approval on my boarding pass and yes I also make sure my known traveler number is entered on my reservation, and I follow all the rules on which lines I am allowed to stand on. I was just curious if my fellow CC posters have been patted down at the Atlanta more than other airports. I always appreciate your input.

    Atl is my home airport and I travel almost weekly for my job, I haven't noticed atl being any different than any other airport

  5. We were just talking about getting the Global Entry.

     

    We already have reservations for November cruise.

     

    I will call AA but just wondering if it's too late to get the info added to our current reservation once we have it?

    It's not too late - you can add it up until just before you're flight (I believe the cutoff is 3 days prior)

     

     

    Ps if you fly a lot through an airport with Clear sign up for that too, improves the time to get through precheck a ton (for example the precheck line in atl this morning was its normal Monday length which is lengthy, with clear and precheck I was through precheck in under 10 minutes)

  6. We just received notification from our airline that our return flight from Seattle to our home on the East Coast will now leave at 9:52 a.m. We will be arriving at Pier 91 from our cruise. The only other flights leave around 10:30 p.m. and later and get us home the next morning about 9:30. My question is, Is there any way we can make this flight??? We definitely would walk off that morning. If we cannot make this flight, we would book a hotel near the airport and fly out the next morning. We booked through Choice Air. Thanks! I am also posting this on the West Coast board.

     

     

    Having booked through Choice Air I'd call and tell them you can't make that flight and they need to find you another flight

  7. Agreed, I only looked at the easy parts since I have nothing booked today. However, even the small stuff that I was able to look at worked better than in the past, but that is not saying much.

     

     

    Hey I've got a receipt from Celebrity showing I made a payment...unfortunately the invoice and my credit card both show no payment made.....sounds like a serious system issue to me for what should be a relatively simple and easy task to perform....here's my money please take it!

Alitalia has been in financial trouble for years perhaps decades and time after time again someone has been foolish enough (including the Italian government) has thrown money down this hole...that's exactly what the unions are counting on....could this be the end of the road? Perhaps - if I held reservations on them I'd be concerned but if I booked them through Celebrity (or a partner airline) I'd be less concerned as those entities should resolve any issues that arise - if I booked directly with Alitalia (as I would have done had I been traveling to IT anytime soon) I'd be very very concerned/nervous...the only thing you can really do at this moment is wait and see what falls out from the current situation...they won't stop flying in the immediate future

  9. I have just tried to do this but the system still asks for my credit card details, even though I have more OBC that the cost of the excursion. Is this because we haven't made the final payment?

    Try making a payment, it gave me a receipt but that's it, never charged the credit card and never posted the payment to the booking, given that I have a printed copy of that receipt I would say it's a website issue not a PICNIC issue

     

    Ps by going to the old website I was able to successfully make the payment....so now I have two payment receipts from Celebrity, but only one charge and one posting to the invoice....

  11. Can Not count how many years Celebrity has had so many problems designing & fixing their web site . That being said who are they hiring to design & or repair issues ??

     

     

     

     

     

    I know they made a big deal about a year ago when they announced they were working on a new website and I believe at that time they named their supplier (who I thought was Accenture but I could be wrong)

  12. New system has a payment issue too

     

    Takes payments - issues receipts but doesn't take an authorization on the credit card nor does it post the payment to the invoice....could cause issues because I have a system generated receipt (I went to the old system via IE and made the payment that way in order to get it to correctly post)

Oh another error with the new website - when I sent to select how we wanted the bed (together or apart) and went to save the selection it repriced the reservation having it go from $4100 to $7300....for that we'll leave the bed selection alone and just tell the attendant when we arrive on board

  15. In an effort to provide all of our guests with the best possible web experience, we are limiting traffic to our new site at this time so we can test in a controlled environment. This will allow us to learn and get feedback from a small population of users as well as rectify any disruptive issues.

     

     

    LOVE the new look - but how can I access shore excursions, that no longer seems to be an online option :(

     

    To be clear - I can see ALL shore excursions offered for every sailing but not the ones specific to my sailing nor can I sign up for them anymore
