When we were on the Star earlier this year at the happy hour the would not leave caps on a beer so I could take it back to the room. the head waiter in charge of the wheelhouse said it was a new policy. Anyone else experienced this? we are sailing soon on the Emerald.

Just came back from 28 cruise to tahiti return. The Wheelhouse waiters opened the beer but you could reseal them (Miller) They ran out of Grolsch.

Leaving Sunday the 8th for 28 days on Emerald, looks like its a great ship.

We have bought the bucket of beer many times. We take the bucket with whatever number of beers that we haven't consumed yet, back to our cabin. The steward (without our asking) has kept it iced for us. We then can enjoy a beer on our balcony, or take them anywhere we go.

I was under the impression they opened all the beer when purchased?

DW PreOrdered 2 of the 5 for 4 for me to put in fridge. (The wine will be hers). As we have a lot of sea days might just want to relax on the balcony with a brew. This seemed like a good deal.

We booked thru EZAir and our flight the air line canceled the flight. My TA called Princess and right away I was booked on another airline ( same cost ) I was the one who found out it was canceled so keep checking but I'm sure you'll be fine.

We are on the same cruise as thrak and our TA tried to get lower price tney said no but gave us another cabin (same deck ) and some OBC. We are happy. You won't know if you don't ask.

Steelers36 you are right we rarely get better prices or OBC from TA in Canada.

Thats what I thought but just checking. No big deal Princess is dropping us off anyway. We are used to lugging suitcases thru checkin.

This sounds nice but I wonder how it would work for us as I show my military release ID at check in and don't pay for luggage (Canadian airline perk for military)?

We are going on our first Princess cruise in November and booked EZair. We received a notification saying our outgoing flight was changed from late afternoon to early morning when DH will be at work. There is a flight in the afternoon with only a 2 hour difference (on a different airline) but it's listed at a higher price.

 

Not sure if I will receive the original price if I change flights. I don't know the policies and I'm a little worried about getting the right answer when I call Princess. I was also thinking of transferring my booking to a big store to receive some perks. Is this something they would be able to fix? Before I make phone calls I was hoping for advice. Thanks!

We booked EZ Air and our flight was cancelled by west jet our TA contacted Princess and flight was changed to Air Canada no problem and no change in price

Which page locks up or doesn't work? If you clicked through to the payment page, where it first tries to pay with your OBC, you have to unclick the check box where is says apply credit. Then you will see the two other payment options, Credit card or PayPal.

Nothing locks up. Just says can't accept credit card at this time. This has been going on for 3 days. No reply from Princess. If we can't book excursions might cancel cruise

Trying to prepay excursions for hawaii,samoa, tahiti but the site won't let us complete transaction. Nothing wrong with credit card, we have been trying for a few days sent email to princess (waiting). Any suggestions

Our TA is doing the tags in plastic for us. She does this and much more for us. We will be sorry to lose her as a TA as we are moving in 2 weeks, she has handled al, our tours for the past 10 years.

We have 5 land tours 2 British Isles in Depth, 1 Europe 9 countries, 1Hawaii, 1 Italy &Greece. This Oct we are on a 28 Day Princess Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti return LA. Next year a Secnic River Cruise Budapest - Amsterdam.

I did look this far ahead but we are going this fall on the emerald

Many people have been doing karaoke for years and some are quite good not necessarly pros.

I just find it fun but I'm a C&W guy and find most karaoke have few c&w songs.

Maybe you haven't cruised the mainstream lines in awhile, they all do paper printable tags and it has been done this way for a number of years. We have clear plastic luggage tag covers I bought on EBay for less than $10 which you slip the paper tag into. Works great!

We have only been on 1 previous cruise (2009). Thanks for the info I have luggage tag covers as we've done 5 bus tours.

Don't know how they knew the class. As far as a big tipper goes, if a bartender was about to serve me and walked away to serve someone else that is not proper and I would be speaking to management. A tip would not be coming from me

Do CCmembers get special treatment from bartenders? The reason I ask is I read a post where a passenger was about to be served when a CC member walked up and the bartender walked and went to serve him.

Is this standard practice?

We have been to both and I would chose Killarney National Park and Muckross House. Blarney is to crowded and to many steps.
