Yep upgrade fairy does exist! On our Carnival Breeze Cruise a couple weeks ago, Sunday morning before embarkation Carnival called us and gave us a complimentary upgrade to an ocean Suite instead of our inside cabin. That was fantastic. [emoji568] The Breeze was a fantastic ship. The crew was happy, efficient and very nice. The ship was very clean. We were fortunate the sea was total smooth the entire week. The food was good and entertainment was great. I enjoyed having the entire cast at the show's singing instead of just one or two headliners. Embarkation and debarkation were nice. When we debarked we used a Porter and it saved us at least an hour in lines, best tip money we spent. Something unusual was that the captain was in the lobby during debarkation thanking cruisers and wishing people safe travels.Now I know why the breeze is highly recommended!

Never cruised the spirit, but the other 8 or 9 carnival ships I have sailed didn't charge for room service. Just a few items like wings and a few other items were an upcharge. Just a few dollars tip is good.

Just off July 10. Twice a day room service, steward met us the first day and asked what we wanted. Great cruise on the Splendor!

On the dream journeys cruise in Oct I used room service 10 separate times in late evening. It was never more than 10 minutes. I was still looking for tip money when they knocked!

Just got off the inspiration today. Crew was fantastic. One of my favorite cruises of our 10 or so carnival cruises and way better than our hawaii ncl cruise.

The cruise was great! If you go on the inspiration the crew is real nice. Just debarked today and here is the bad news...missed Catalina twice, so we had 2 sea days instead. Couldn't tender in.
