  1. Bananaguy: Ck. Out “NationalExpress” coach service. Depending on which terminal you arrive at, it’s an easy walk to meet it. I have purchased my ticket online with them, with The coach pulling into its station in Southampton, it’s a short distance to the cruise terminal. I have stayed at the Novotel hotel, which you can see from the station, again, an easy walk, with luggage and all. 
     

    I booked Royal’s return shuttle back to Heathrow, I was that early arriving, I was able to change my A/C flight home by a few hours.

  2. BillOh could you possibly book the Enchantement with a refundable deposit and wait to see how the accommodation arrangements for the Majesty end up?

    I also received notice that my transpacific from Sydney to Hawaii for April/ 20 has been cancelled. The "Ovation/ Seas is heading for Alaska from it's Asia run. Always something!

    Saw you were raised on Lake Erie, how did you end up in Ohio? I live on Lake Ontario!

  3. I agree with FionaMG, Sept.,Oct., even Nov. are definitely the best times to sail Europe.

    Greece is spectacular that time of year. Venice and Croatia wonderful. Not as crowded, fares are always lower, And the best scenario is the chance you might be upgraded to a

    Suite. If possible, plan to spend a few days in the home port before embarking on your cruise!

  4. SilkySal: I agree trying to organize 7 cabins will be challenging! What I don't understand is why would they move you from OV to interior? You have obviously paid additional $ to have that view! If you call the Crn.&Anchor line, hopefully they can direct you to the rep who will listen, and simply get the 7 cabins back to their original category WITHOUT any additional $ having to be paid!   5. Just received an e-mail from Royal, they successfully moved my b-b Empress sailings to the Majesty for March 2-11/2019. Different deck plans but I am satisfied where the Jr. Suite is on deck 10. BUT, they will forward me a new invoice for any monies owed! I called right away and the rep said the original fee is "price protected". We shall see!

  7. I called the deployment office and after being on hold, was disconnected. Called the 1-800-526-9723 # and was told, they are behind in transferring bookings to the Majesty. My sailing is not till March/2019, so possibly they are doing year by year!! Was told though that the price we paid when originally booking is the price we will still pay. We'll see!

  8. Possibly, because my b-b Empress to Majesty is not till March 2019 that I see and hear that it has not been moved over! So much for the price protected cabin! I did notice that most of the suites on 10 are underneath the Wind jammer and Pool Deck. Been there, done that, way too noisy at 4:30 in the morning! Well, will wait and see what transpires!

  9. Got through to the deployment call #, only to be disconnected. Called the 1-800-526-9723

    Spoke to rep. They are behind in the rescheduling of changes. Hopefully completed by

    Monday, Nov. 27. BUT, she did say we are price protected for the Majsty sailings. They will send us an e-mail when things are completed.
