Have they stopped putting refrigerators in the cabins? Someone also mentioned her cabin had no hair dryer. Did you have a hair dryer? TY for your reply.
Refrigerators are only in suites--not even the balcony cabins. No hair dryers either. It's time this ship is taken out of Carnival's fleet. This was my third Carnival ship and we wanted a smaller ship with fewer people. The a/c is controlled by a ceiling vent--not easily accessible. No small sofa or coffee table like on most ships, so you have to resort either to the one straight-back chair or lie on the beds. The TV doesn't show your sign and sale account data, so if you want to keep track of your spending, you have to go to one of the few kiosks. The itinerary is great but because the ship is so old it leaves a lot to be desired.
San Juan Fascination Disembarkation Time
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Off of the Fascination last Sun. We had to leave our cabins by 8 a.m. because they were going to do something with the water system. We decided to self-disembark so were off by 8:00. We had Carnival transfers to the airport. Had originally booked the excursion to see the forts but our airline changed our flight time and it wouldn't allow us time for the tour and still be dropped off at the airport 2-hours prior to our flight ( needed to check bags). The airport shuttle got us to SJU in 20 mins--but it was too early to check bags and get boarding tickets. No seating at the airport so we just stood there for 2 hours. Don't forget to go through the Dept. of Agriculture check-in and get all your bags tagged with their stickers.)
