They may turn out to be too bright for us also as we haven’t sailed since they were installed. We’ll find out in April.

We fold towels to put in front of the nightstands and bring masking tape to cover the one in front of the bathroom door at night.

  2. In my experience, it can be chilly in the lounges, especially during the day - but I get cold easily. You can regulate the temp in your cabin. Expect it to be very cold on deck while going through the glaciers. As for vapes, yes, they can be used in your cabin - not your balcony. They only allow them in smoking sections of the ship.

  3. In my experience, she will be able to ride it close to where she will be seated and the dining staff will park it out of their way & retrieve it when she is ready to leave.

  4. I rented one for our last cruise on the Caribbean Princess. If you have the beds configured to 2 twins, you can maneuver around and back it up against the wall between the end of the bed & fridge. We met a couple that both used scooters & they would have their room steward take them to be stored out of the way & then bring them back when they were needed.

We booked through Shore Excursioneer for Cozumel (open air bus around the island) and Roatan (private driver for 4 hours). Very pleased with both. Just be aware that you pay a deposit on line & the balance IN CASH to the tour operator.
