All specialty coffee on Indy (no matter what beans they are using) is covered by the Replenish and Ultimate packages.
Only Oasis and Allure have exceptions.

It's a bit confusing. Actual Starbucks branded outlets are only on Oasis and Allure. Packages cannot be used here.
Premium coffees like latte, cappuccino, caramel macchiato (what some may consider Starbucks style drinks) are available at Cafe Promenade or Cafe Latte-tudes on all ships. Packages can be used here. Some of these outlets may use Starbucks beans and even serve in Starbucks cups, but they are not actually Starbucks outlets.
So...even if they are serving Starbucks beans and in their cups is it still covered under the package on this ship (Independence) or is that something separate? I'm a straight coffee drinker so I don't do to many specialty coffee drinks.

Starbucks is not included with any package.
Oh ok. I thought that's what they meant by premium coffee.

Can of soda about $2.80. Premium coffers in the range of $4 - $6 depending on what you order and the size. Frozen alcoholic drink $12 plus 18 % gratuity. I think the non-alcoholic cocktails were around $7
Sounds good. Reportedly, the Independence has a Starbucks on board so there is guaranteed 7 mornings of coffee they will be getting and I drink about 3-4 alcoholic drinks a day mixed with soda, water, etc throughout the day. My wife on the other hand will drink water, soda, or juice and has only about 1-2 alcoholic drinks a day. Sounds like one package may be best and just pay for her drinks out of pocket.

Can anyone tell me, that have recently returned from a RCI cruise, what are the average cost for drinks if you pay out of pocket. A break down for water, premium coffee, soda, alcoholic drink, non-alcoholic specialty drink would be nice. Trying to decide if my wife and I need a drinking package or not. Thanks in advance.

Do they like to swim? Do they like water? There are life jackets available to put your mind at ease. They don't have to be dare devils to enjoy the Blue Hole. It's very calm, unlike an ocean with rough waves. No tide to pull them in. Lots of places to hike and walk. They are a perfect age to enjoy the falls. I saw many younger children there and different age groups of people. Our family used Liberty Tours Jamaica, and were very satisfied with the service they provided to us. Their drivers are very knowledgeable and patient. It really is an experience of a lifetime, something our family will remember for years to come.SundayB,
I was told to inquire with you about trying to tag along with your group to the Blue Hole in Jamaica. My wife and I will be on the Independence the week of Aug 9th, 2015 and I understand your group has the best deal for this excursion. If it is possible to tag a long please let me know. Also, this is my first time using or communicating via a message board so I apologize if I'm doing this incorrectly or improper. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yes! you are absolutely welcome to join our group tour to The Blue Hole. There will be 5 in our group. I have done this tour before with Liberty Tours Jamaica and we are booked again for our upcoming cruise on INDY.Have you seen the video posted above? We LOVED the Blue Hole. Can't wait to do it again!

Any previous sailors that can advise of what are ,use sees and do at each port. Sailing Aug 9th Independence of the Seas. Western Caribbean. Would
Ike to know what to book, what to stay away from and what I should book through the cruise or just pay on ,y own.
Also, is there any private gatherings just for us on cruise critic? Someone said that some groups on here will have a private get together for those on cruise critic. Thanks for your help.

Good to know. I typically switch back and forth between Starbucks and DD stateside. As long as I can find something close to either one I'll be fine. If not, my back-up is a caramel macchiato if I have to go that route. Thanks!
