You should know what your children like. Pick the place you think they will enjoy the most after reading the reviews and menus.

You asked for opinions by posting so you should have known the different responses you would get. It is not fair to others who would like to eat at a special place and not be able to get in because of people who do not show up. It also is not fair to the cruise line.

Well...we TRIED! Some knucklehead kept moving our university's team mascot magnet all over the place. I was irritated and by the third day we gave up & took it down.

Maybe someone was just having some innocent fun. At least it was not stolen.

I think the door decorating idea is cute. But then I am a retired elementary librarian who loved to do bulletin boards.

I am going to Alaska in June. What theme could I use?

I really enjoyed your trip report. I can tell I will have no trouble finding things to do. I am definitely taking a journal along. There is too much happening to remember.

This report was very helpful. I am a newbie and will be doing the 1b cruisetour. I appreciated the estimates for money needed for food on the land portion. I am going to reread and take notes for which places need cash and which will take credit.

I was a little confused about the luggage during the land part. Do we only get to take one suitcase?

Thanks for the great info. My first cruise will be in 2016. I appreciated the things to bring such as the bathroom light and where to store things.
