  1. Hello,

We cruised on Azamara last November, also visiting Mallorca. I believe it's the same port as yours.

According to the NCL website, you'll be docking at: Muelle Peraries - Estacion Maritima 1 - Poniente Sur

We did not attempt to walk into town. However, there's a HOHO bus stop a short walk from where you'll dock: stop #14 . That's what we did and it was a nice tour. We purchased our tickets on the bus. Prices were very reasonable and they accept credit cards.

    Enjoy your time in Mallorca!

  2. Barcelona Day Tours did our cruise transfers and they were excellent. If you also would like to see some of Barcelona, they can add on a tour. We were very pleased with at how well they listened to our needs and proposed an itinerary via email.

They should be able to accommodate your large group. On their website, it says "For groups of 4-7 we have VW and Mercedes type minivans, and for larger groups we have mini coaches and motor-coaches."

    Enjoy your trip!

  3. We used Barcelona Day Tours in November of 2021 for our Spain Intensive cruise transfers and a Barcelona city tour. I'd highly recommend them.

We booked an airport pickup, 4 hour city tour and hotel drop off. Our luggage stayed with us while we toured, since we couldn't checkin to our hotel until the afternoon.

They will purchase timed entry tickets if you want to visit the insides of Park Guell and La Sagrada. It was very busy in those areas so we were glad we had our own driver.

The person who answered our email was excellent. We wrote back and forth several times while planning our itinerary. They answered all our questions and provided a written confirmation.

We also booked them for our transfer to the cruise ship. Both times the drivers were on time, professional, personable, masked and drove roomy, clean vehicles.

  4. My husband and I flew in a Southwest exit row yesterday and many times prior. If you have one of the first 25 or so boarding positions, you'll have a good chance of getting exit row seats. As you board, a flight crew member is usually standing near (or in) one of the exit rows. I know they are watching who sits there, because they won't allow children. I'm a small woman age 68 and I've never been questioned about my strength or age. Right before pushback, an attendant will address all the exit row passengers and ask for a verbal yes, that they are willing to follow crew directions and assist in an emergency. They're strict about making sure everyone is paying attention during this step. So pick the best seats you can find and don't worry.

  5. We were on Escape in January. They had something called "Dance Fitness with Cruise Staff" held at 9 AM in the Sky Bar on sea days. It was free and fun, with dance party music that provided a nice workout. I specifically asked if they would be offering Zumba and he told me that they were not licensed and certified for it.

We loved the new comedy shows. Ours was a two week cruise and NCL brought in new comedians the second week, so there was lots of variety.
